At the end of the day, would you prefer a better country? Trump may be as bad to women as was Lyndon Johnson and John Kennedy but is that what those two are remembered for? The media worshipped Kennedy and pretended he was loyal to Jackie. Johnson managed to keep plenty well stocked with whores to amuse himself and the media supported him. Look how the media protected Obama. We republicans recall it.

 

Yes, obama was a great example for people in so far as marriage is concerned. I agree. And he set a great example for the american blacks.

Yet we had a great president, imo, in JFK, who spread more female thighs than trump could ever hope of doing. Clinton loved JFK, but given how clinton governed, turning his back on the party of FDR and working people, it is apparent what he liked about JFK was the women he bedded down, even as president, even while married to Jackie. Still he was a great president.

I was old enough at the time of Kennedy's death to see him as how he was, not how he became upon death. I served him in the Army and was still in when he was killed in Dallas.

I hope the cycle of hate ends here. I saw it daily when Bush was president. I saw much less during Obama because by and large we republicans do not go after presidents like Democrats do. They go for the jugular.

In the time of JFK, the media allowed politicians their privacy and private lives especially when it came to sex. It was just not responsible to go where the media goes today. Or would it set a good example for american children who would be exposed to this stuff. With sex being broadcast all over the place in the news, the dirty laundry, it should not surprise anyone that the kids post JFK when exposed to this stuff, before long started having sex in their early teens. You know, when I was growing up, only a rare few boys ever experienced sex in high school. Hell, the girls would not put out!! They kept us from messing up, thank god.
