The prototype border walls have been completed and in place since October, 2017. The walls alone cost up to $4 million, the security to protect those walls for months was $2.6 million, and who knows what the cost was to fly Trump and others to CA?

Watching Trump's visit today on the news proved the entire event was nothing more than a political photo opportunity! A photo opportunity that costs taxpayers $10-$20 million. Timed solely for the benefit of the Trump political rally in southern CA.

Almost the first thing out of idiot's mouth was 'we need to see through them'. As the camera pans the prototype walls it's not possible to see through any of them. All of this time, and effort, and costs, only to find out NO ONE received the presidential twitter that mandated we be able to see through the walls?

A 100% waste of time and money...

I’m thinking you’ve never climbed even a 20ft+ ladder. You’ll need more than a few extra feet higher than the maximum. You have to take account for angle or you’ll never reach the top And you’ll need a way to drop 30ft without breaking your legs. Guess you’ll need accomplices on the other side. Me thinks border agents should shoot first and ask questions later if they see any non authorized people within a mile of that wall.

Until a small drone that can shoot a .22 plinks them off the wall. How long will it take for the message to sink in when they’re literally dropping like flies? It is very easy to deter people from invading our country. We just have to do it, like we did during other world wars. There is no one innocent trying to break into your house is there? If someone was jumping your fence in your back yard, do they have good intentions? How about cutting a hole in your back door?

As long as the people climbing the wall are healthy young men, I can agree that they coulkd figure out a way to do it - but women, children and older people would be taking their lives into their hands.

I'd love to see a hundred yard no-mans land loaded with mines - that would stop the invasion.
