As far as U.S. Recon. Satellite Saturation.....we not only have a multitude of Low Orbit Satellites passing over but as well have several Satellites in Geosynchronous Orbit directly overhead.

What you posted from Forbes is the most ridiculous thing I ever read. First of all the Ukrainian air force is almost non existent because all the planes were being shot down, so why would the Dombas Freedom Fighters be so happy about a (non existent) BUK to shoot down planes which were flying much lower so that a Buk would not be needed?

Let's not forget that Kiev is the one that came out with a falsified satellite image from a private firm about the shoot down. I mean how in the world anyone could believe anything coming out from them is unbelievable. But then again Forbes is part of the MSM and even wikipedia is edited by the CIA.

A solution to the problem. SBU to hand over recordings of the conversation between Ukrainian Air Traffic Control and MH17 pilots. The content of the black box recordings to be made public.

Yes the Russian military has confirmed it, so where are the satellite photos from the American satellites, not the one Kerry showed that came from a private firm in Kiev.

The real question is, how did they shoot it down? The rebels had no access to anti air weapons or rockets. Russia claimed they were not arming them, and yet most sources say that a shoulder launched rocket brought the plane down.


So, one of three senerios.

1; Russia was arming the rebels with rockets and other weapons to attack Ukraine, and some of the rebels downed the plane, thinking it was a military plane. Most likely, since the rebels took credit for it within hours of it happening.

2; The Russian spread version, where Ukraine downed the plane to blame Russia and the rebels. Not likely, since the rebels took credit for it.

3; Russian soldiers downed the plane and allowed the rebels to take credit. They either mistook it for a military plane, or purposed targeted an airliner. They could have done it on purpose, knowing the rebels would take the blame, and could get away with not being able to tell the different between military and civilian planes.

Trying to say anythig else happened against such overwealming evidence especially after some people actually tried to convince others a Ukrainain Su-25 shot down a Boeing 777 traveling at 33,000 feet at 550 mph....with R-60 Rockets which are just nothing more than shooting bullets as they have only an effective range of 4200 Feet!!!

Well....Putin should have just come out and apologized for not having better oversight of such Seperatist Crews by Spetsnaz!!

If he had done this quickly and right after the shoot down happened....PEOLE WOULD HAVE FORGIVEN HIM.

Yes, I know they do. That's their style if not their profession.

But if they're professional, then it has to be said that they're being paid well above their low ability. I've run into some quality trolls before on other forums who had the ability to conduct proper research and who could muster at least a believable argument - even though their anti anything other than the government spin posts marked them clearly as trolls. But this lot are a poor excuse in comparison... far too lazy to conduct decent research and too ignorant to muster proper and intelligent arguments. I've noted from the forum rules that trolls are not permitted here, but there's about a dozen of them here every day. I guess they're tolerated for keeping the debate alive and making the forum lively and popular. Other than that they're a waste of space.

 

On the contrary, many parts of the world no longer trust western propaganda - and that includes many independent thinkers and observers in the west who are appalled by the level of propaganda the west has adopted in its desperation to surround and contain Russia. You need to watch more - or read more - of the output of George Friedman.

Meanwhile, there are all sorts of credible sources watching and reporting about this particular story. You wouldn't really know about them because they're independent. Yep, I've been using the internet for 20 years. And have written numerous feature articles for those magaziney things you refer to. I also watch the news channels from all over the world - not just US ones, but ones from the middle east, Russia, Europe and yep, even China too. To be informed you need to have a wide source of information and assess it critically.

I've also spent a fairly long life reading those things called books, that you might've heard of, but probably haven't spent too much time delving into. I've read many thousands and, oddly, written a few too.

But the problem you and others here have is that while you have access to all this good stuff, you don't really make use of it because of your preference to remain wilfully blind. It's scary.
