I didnt vote for Obama.. in fact I persuaded a few people not to vote for him after showing them where he was getting his campaign finances.. and the promises he would be unable to deliver as president, if it was up to me he wouldnt be president. i am one his biggest critics.. the only reason you cant see it in my posts is because your too fixated on stupid trivial shiat (like this) to notice. If I dont join in on the stupid ass gay commentary or join the stupidity of Drill for more oil... or agree that Republicans are blameless then I am an Obama lover.... no honey... that makes me a tick more aware and cognizant than the average partisan moron.

As per partisan hack S.O.P ... you attack the source when confronted by inescapable logic and facts.... Your an Obama lover!!!!!... how unoriginally vapid and weak.

Check this out Captain... this how absolutely misinformed you are... you take any garbage spewed by your favorite (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)bag and repeat it as fact without doing any research to see if what sounds too stupid to be true ..is in fact true... if it supports your programmed ideals and partisan hackery .. you take it as fact and ignore everything else... this kind of action makes a person look like a "halfwitted moron" , easily controlled by "three-quarter witted morons"

To prove how misinformed you are I included a post from the same rag you quoted.... I had to do this because when I read your post I automatically was very skeptical about any educated person replacing a turkey sandwich with chicken nuggets.... I wasnt after fodder to feed a twisted ideology so I still had logic on my side.. you should try some.. its delicious

So, Michelle Obama was in Dallas today. She spent 5 minutes talking about her "Let's Move" program so she could hurry off to a $250/plate fundraiser for hubby. Of course, the 5 min gets her fundraisking trip paid for.

I'm beginning to think all you "mean to Michelle, mean to veggies' whiners might actually NEED the govt to tell you what to feed your children. Convincing a 6 yr she'd rather have broccoli than mac & cheese is a tough job. You must think you need MO's help.

Ya know what's strange? Our govt pours BILLIONS of dollars into educating our kids and we all know how that's working out. Why on earth are you so eager to give the feds even more control over your children?

    Bunchaninnies.

and who says we are 'anti health and anti vegetables'??

see this is a common tactic with the Left, this making stuff up...show me ONE post on here where anyone said they didn't want their kids to be healthy or they didn't want to eat vegetables...put up..or SHUT UP...stop deliberately misinterpreting our posts.

disagreeing with Marie Antionette Obama doesn't mean we are 'antihealth'. Mooooooochelle Obama isn't in control of giving out 'health' to anyone. She's not a doctor, she's not a dietician, she's not been asked to interfere in my life. I'll handle my own health and eat vegetables when and if I choose to.

but NONE of them sent inspectors into schools to force their programs on the kids while telling their parents (and the kids) that the parents weren't good enough to raise their own kids without Big Booty Obama to assist.

oh my .....so we are going there? ok, if you want schoolyard behaviour:

I'm rubber, YOU'RE glue, everything you say, bounces off me and sticks to you...

now!! back to grown up talk:

refusing to fund rubbers is completely in keeping with the conservative ideals that the individual should take care of himself as much as possible.

and while there can be debate over what diseases (if any) obesity causes, we KNOW that STDs cause specific problems and death...so do you advocate Michelle having everyone wear chastity belts so save money? perhaps we should segregate the sexes and have 24/7 monitoring to prevent sexual activity? I mean after all, it's all about the money and what is 'healthy', right??

LOL @ either of the Obama's passing a 'law' the old fashioned way... she's encumbering billions of dollars in school lunch programs OVER AND ABOVE the billions we're already spending to fund jobs to staff the SEIU. You may consider yourself 'politically savvy' but you're very naive if you think programs like this are effective. Might as well be pouring water down a gopher hole. Kids eat what they like and don't eat what they don't like. It ain't rocket science... I'm surprised you don't get it.

correction...no one wants to ADMIT they voted for him....they don't want to admit they were fainting and hyperventilating and having 'chills running up' their legs when they heard him speak...

especially guys, it's really hard for them to admit they got a mancrush....

A preschool student at West Hoke Elementary School in North Carolina ended up eating three chicken nuggets for lunch two weeks ago -- because a state inspector declared that the 4-year-old's lunch wasn't nutritious enough.

The turkey and cheese sandwich, banana, potato chips and apple juice, according to the Carolina Journal, didn't meet U.S. Department of Agriculture guidelines. So to meet those requirements, the child was given chicken nuggets. The agent was inspecting the entire class' lunch boxes that day.

you're excused, I know a new video came out about that time and you probably didn't hear the news...

School Lunch Taken By Official Was Teacher's Mistake, But Seen By Critics As Government Meddling

The cafeteria details are true, but rather than an example of government "lunch bag police" overruling a family, it's an embarrassing lapse by a teacher, Hoke County Schools Assistant Superintendent Bob Barnes said Thursday.

The girl's teacher should have handed the child a carton of milk to round out the turkey-and-cheese sandwich and banana she brought from home. Instead, the teacher erred by telling the tyke to get a cafeteria lunch, Barnes said.

"We do not go over and stare down every child's lunch," Barnes said. "If you looked at the lunch the child had, I'd love to have that lunch today. However, there are occasions that kids bring lunches that aren't that complete, and that's why we try to supplement them with the things that they need to make it a complete lunch."

The North Carolina Pre-Kindergarten is a state-run enrichment program to help 4-year-olds at risk of starting school lagging behind their peers. Ninety percent of the children qualify for free or reduced lunch.

The program has 1,100 sites serving 25,000 children and is required to supply a healthful lunch. The U.S. Agriculture Department defines that as a serving of milk, two servings of fruits or vegetables, one serving of grain, and one serving of meat or protein.

The federal agency had no involvement in the case involving a local school district and state supervision of nutrition policies, USDA spokeswoman Courtney Rowe said.

USDA does not "regulate sack lunches or any other food children bring from home to eat at school. That is a responsibility for parents, not the federal government," Rowe said.

Barnes said the school is apologizing to the child's parents for startling the girl and sending her through a cafeteria line she was unaccustomed to.

"I am so sorry this happened to this little girl," Barnes said. "On that day, the policy wasn't followed, and hey, we're the grown folks here. That's our fault. The teacher never should have sent that little girl into that line. She should have gone over and picked up the missing item and brought it to her."

The girl's name was withheld for her privacy, Barnes said. A state legislator contacted by the family did not return a call from The Associated Press seeking comment.

The mistake isn't a sign teachers are delving into diet details where they don't belong, Barnes said.

"We're not trying to force government down anybody's throat. All we're trying to do is make sure that our children get a good education and a nutritious meal every day," Barnes said. "It comes back to: We had an employee who made a mistake."
