The bottom line is that Michelle Owebama's vacation had nothing to do with gays, the congress or the Republican party. If no one is complaining about what the Republicans are saying/doing about gays then it probably isn't an issue. What does that have to do with the White House wasting money?

Let's see, while in Africa Michelle Obama:
-Met with the South African president's wife, Nompumelelo Ntuli-Zuma
-Spoke to the Young African Women Leaders Forum
-Participated in community service events in Johannesburg
-Visited U.S. embassies and consulates
-Spoke at the University of Cape Town and met with students from poor communities
-Held a meeting with Archbishop Desmond Tutu
-Met with Botswanan president Ian Khama

And that safari she went on was paid with PRIVATE FUNDS.

So, A) that "vacation" you were talking about isn't even a vacation. B) The only part of the "vacation" that could be considered a vacation, the safari, was paid with private funds.

Lastly, Air Force One is expensive, and it's one of the perks being First Lady. What do you expect, her to ride stand by on Southwest? Pitiful.

It wasn't 20 family members. It was 20 family members and staff (as in 20 combined). You know, that staff that is needed to cater to them and protect them because they're the first family. Not at all. When people are losing their jobs and homes here in America, she should keep her big fat ass at home. She should not be spending taxpayer money to go high faluting around the world. If she wanted to help someone it should be people in America right now. We are 14 trillion in debt. Borrowing all of it from foreign countries. There is slim revenue coming into the government. Unemployment is high. Jobs are not high paying. Mostly service jobs. You're right...this is really getting sad.
