Hey, guess what. The Republicans use to be fairly progressive and the party of fiscal responsibility. That's definitely not the case these days. If you read this forum on a regular basis, it would become readily apparent that the GOP is the preferred party these days for the likes of David Duke and Steve Bannon.

A big KKK movement in "Junction" (as we Coloradoans call it)? Sounds like some kind of one-off stunt of some kind. Look at where Grand Junction is situated. Does that look like an area where there would be some kind of a 'flash-point' between Whites and Blacks...? . They're out there in the middle of absolutely NOWHERE, in the high desert. If there's a large minority of any kind in "Junction" it might be illegal aliens.

That's pretty simple. If Southern whites were liberal in the 40s, 50s and 60s there would have been no need for a Civil Rights Movement. Only someone with their head in the sand would try and say those folks were liberal in their thinking.
