It was the liberal Washington Post who reported this story. Even they see that Mueller's investigation is floundering and going nowhere fast. There will never be a smoking gun that proves Trump was some treasonous agent to Putin's Russia. It's a fantasy cooked up by the Clinton campaign as revenge against Trump.

He's finished where it matters the most.

The Republican and Democrat establishment who called for this investigation were basically saying that Trump was a traitor. Mueller will never prove those outlandish, malicious accusations because they aren't true. All Mueller can do is wave around a bunch of indictments that do nothing to advance the principal theory that Trump was somehow involved in treason or treachery.

I'd really like to know what your factual basis is for these seemingly rage-based, Trumpish assertions.

We know for a fact that Trump has lied repeatedly about his connections to Russia, and his business interests there during the campaign. It is also apparent that Mueller holds a great deal back when getting Trump's criminal lackeys to cooperate. What else is there? We're only seeing the tip of Trump's shitberg.

Then why did Rod Rosenstein, a Republican appointed by Bonespurs, appoint Mueller? Why was there a pre-existing Russia inestigation before Mueller's appointment? It's absurd to suggest that an existing Russia investigation was "revenge" for something that hadn't even happened yet.

Trump is dirty. He elevated his own business interests over the country's interests.

Mueller hasn't produced one shred of evidence proving that Trump was secretly conspiring with Putin. And he never will. It's a giant lie concocted by the Clinton campaign. And it's obvious to anyone who isn't a Clinton cultist.

A politician is dirty? You don't say!

Anyway, the question is not whether or not Trump is dirty. Virtually everyone agrees that he is. The question is whether or not Trump committed some kind of treason by conspiring with the Russian state to commit unlawful acts against the USA. And the answer to that question is almost certainly: No. Obviously, we cannot KNOW that Trump didn't do something, but it's not on Trump to prove his innocence. That's not how justice works, unless you're an authoritarian who hates liberal principles. All the onus falls on Trump's accusers to prove their case. Thus far, after years of screaming and gnashing of the teeth, they have fallen woefully short of demonstrating their arguments. Clearly, they have nothing and are just throwing crap at the walls in the hope that something sticks.

As for your specific question concerning the role of Republicans in this fraud, I'm not sure what you find so confusing. Many Republicans hate Trump just as much as do Democrats do. The entire political establishment disdains Trump in one way or another. This is news to you?

I asked you about proving that it's a "conspiracy" to bring the President down. The only "proof" that you seem to have is to suggest the "conspiracy" exists because there's an unholy alliance between these mythical "libruls" and "establishment Republicans". You've pointed to nothing but your suspicions to support that theory, and the lack of information leaked by Mueller.

It's funny how you keep trying to turn this around on me, as if I'm the one responsible for disproving your allegations.

That's not how this works: YOU are making the accusations, therefore the onus is on YOU to prove them.

Thus far, you and your ilk have failed miserably to do this. I am merely pointing that fact out.

And in a reasonable society, individuals are generally PRESUMED INNOCENT until proven otherwise.

You seem to be operating under the exact opposite theory.

The investigation is ongoing, and it's remarkably naïve to believe that "there's nothing there!!!" in light of 30 or so indictments and numerous guilty pleas.

BTW, you have offered absolutely nothing to suggest that your fairytale conspiracy tale is remotely accurate. Why is that?

Indictments prove nothing. And the guilty pleas do nothing to support the theory of Trump being some kind of traitor. After two years of wailing and gnashing of the teeth, you and your ilk have produced nothing of import.

    LOL

    My God... the irony.

In case you forgot, YOU are the one pushing a fairy tale about some vast Trump-Putin conspiracy. I'm merely commenting on the utter lack of evidence in support of your fairy tale.

With regards to the main thrust of his investigation, Mueller was finished before he even began.

Since when do law enforcement agencies make the contents of their investigations public during the investigations?

Just admit that you have no idea what you’re talking about. Pronto.

    I shall have mercy.

Since when do law enforcement agencies conduct investigations based on salacious rumors?

Just admit that you've been duped by liars.

Why don't you ask your friends at the WAPO and other mainstream news outlets? They're the ones who keep saying it's coming to an end.

I shall still be merciful to you. That's the kind of man I am.

I have a feeling that the report will not be kind to Bonespurs.

You've been duped by the same group of liars who gave us "weapons of mass destruction" in Iraq and "moderate rebels" in Syria.

People like you will believe just about anything the lying government tells you.

That would make me a trumper. And I am no trumper.

"People like me"? Well-educated professionals paid for their objectivity and good judgment?
