A very good friend of mine is a fellow infantry officer and Ranger. He's an excellent and honorable man, he happens to be an atheist. We arrely talk about religion, and when he does ask me about it, he asks with an open mind more akin to trying to understand how or why I can hold something to him that is, at face value, charitably intangible. He respects that choice, respects the values that it drives (which is why we are both freinds and why we would literally and willingly place our lives in each others hands).

Being atheist in and of itself is not a crime, its not illogical, and its not mean. The modern form of nilhilism so prevelent on this forum strikes a noticeable different chim that the infantryman I would happily follow into battle knowing I am with the very best headed into harms way.

Atheism is not a problem, intolerance and arrogance are.

Wow .. you are deep in the weeds having nothing left other than insults.

It was you that "wavered" stopped addressing the topic and started spouting nonsense.

You have sunk so low that you have turned in to a lying disingenuous troll who has nothing better than to bring ones mother into the issue.

Not a great example the Christianity you claim believe in.

Show where I have flip flopped or back tracked in relation to the debate topic.

    Good luck.

You are the one that does not seem to understand the message of Jesus.

Don't get mad at me for pointing this out to you.

So there are atheists in fox holes?

Huh. A far cry from "there are no atheists in fox holes". I'll ignore the moving of goal posts and simply say "awesome.... we agree".

You have waffled or tried to spin as in back-tracking previous comments on several occasions when you have been proven wrong.

Just as the 'father of many nations' was pointed out to you as Abraham, you said 'No, Noah,' and then ignored the 3 religions coming out of 'his loins' thru his sons, and backed out by saying 'even if recorded as a prediction in the holy scriptures, 'it' was wrong' so waffle your way out of still more Biblical facts..

I apologized to your mother as because she apparently tried to convince you that you were some how 'Gifted,' and you have proven on this forum to the contrary...I guess her telling you that while growing up some how convinced you as it being a 'reality, but alas, you have just ended up a "run-of-the-mill, Inet hack"...sorry things didnt work out for you.

Resorting to dragging another posters mother into a discussion doesnt help your arguement in any way . On the contrary it only proves its weakness. Go ask your mother . (wink)

    Where is the waffle ?

    1) Noah is the father of us all according to the Bible
    2) Abraham may have been father of 3 religions but that does not make him father of many nations .. (and this has nothing to do with the topic which is about the amount of land that Noah and sons had in Caanan prior to the exodus)

    3) Where is the waffeling ? There is none.

It is your premise that Abraham and sons owned most or all of the land that became Israel prior to the exodus that is wrong.

Abraham fathered one nation .. Israel.

Fathering 3 religions and 3 nations are different concepts.

    No waffeling or backtracking.

Not only do you claim false things about me but now you are making claims about my mother ?

Obviously I am gifted at making you question your beliefs. Otherwise you would not be trying to hard to demonize me with such lame excuses.

This is classic denial and demonization mechanism used by folks under the influence of brainwashing by a destructive cult.

It is 'physically hard' to back track while spinning! But you have so demonstrated with words by your postings. Altho you have become adept at 'weasel wording' your mistakes when caught.

And of course, the labeling of something as a 'cult' is the cheap copout by the losers of a discussion! Phsssttt..

Speaking of 'waffling,' there is a national breakfast chain that could use your services..

And , again my condolences to your mother's high expectations for you..

BTW: I could change my username to "AnointedOne," as Christ means 'anointed,' and Christian means 'little Christ," but my humility prohibits doing such..unlike your lofty, faux opinion of yourself..

Your problem is you're incapable of carrying on a discussion without resorting to personal insults .
Its a pity you couldnt afford to travel around the country + experience other British delights apart from Fish + Chips. LOL .

As I've said B4, your insults & trolling do proceed you...they are expected of you, as serious conversation is not what you are known for on this forum ...you just prefer to 'snipe' as what you apparently consider as 'input to the conversation."

You are one of the reasons for my thread on :

I'm sorry for you that you have NOTHING to add to any conversation on religion,.. apparently that is a VOID in your self-ascribed 'intellect.'..

    BTW, no "tateeee bye bye?!"

Did you notiuce something in gifted post? All 'your' quotes allow a rader to go back and check the veracity of the quite. They are all like this:

When you hit the first part it takes you right to the quote.

All of his, where he quotes himself are like this:

So there is little or no way to know where exact he said what he said or find it.

You are simply a massive egoist. And you actually think that constant spin makes anyone think highly of you?

Must be hard when your faith is challenged ... wait, when you make up a position on the spot, its never hard is it ....

You tried to show backtracking/waffeling and failed. Repeating your false premise over and over again, while failing to provide any valid evidence, thinking that this subtantiates your position is another mental delusion.

This too is akin to "thought stopping processes" - what cult followers are taught to do when their beliefs are questions.

Cult leaders use "black vs white" "good vs evil" "God vs Devil" terminology. Cult doctrine is "good" .. anything else is painted as evil - the work of the devil. Followers are encouraged to demonize anything that contradicts cult doctrine.

FEAR - of being ostracized from the cult and by this not being worthy to receive the promised reward and fear of the punishment in the afterlife have a powerful subconscious effect.

There is a difference between "destructive" and "non destructive" cults and brainwashing. Do not pretend you understand this difference until you talk the time to learn.

Destructive Cult brainwashing - If the shoe fits .. then perhaps the motives of the Religious leader needs be questions.

There are many false prophets "Brother" .. and indeed this is one of Christs predictions made numerous times.

Can you distinguish the difference ?

I'm still in awe on the amount of time that must have been spent in coming up with that 'argument!'

No gifted, its you that failed.

Its you that said the Israelites were not reclaiming land, and now you are saying well it was only the tiniest sliver of land ... which was therefor reclaimed.

Even if its a tiny mistake, you can't acknowledge it.

And we know what cult you truely belong too kiddo.

O.D - - I've made my views on religion quite plain - no point to keep repeating it , but you're entitled to you opinions which appear to be firmly set and unchangeable . You're not as clever as you think you are. Others see you for what you really are.

Confucius He Say : Man with head up his bum have crappy outlook + cant see for $hit" Chaff .

Pot calling the kettle black ?

It is you that has continued to dodge the central premise by reverting to insults and trolling. Your desperation to demonize is so great that you have gone after my mother numerous times.

How is the historical fact that Abraham did not own much land in Caanan such a threat to your belief system ? This makes no sense ?

God forbid there was a serious challenge to your beliefs.

That you will go through such twisted mental contortions to demonize anything that conflicts with your beliefs in the slightest of ways is telling.

This complete lack of ability for self analysis (in relation to questioning anything that is thought to pose the slightest and most miniscule challenge to cult doctrine) is also a common sign of that one has been exposed to destructive thought manipulation techniques.
