It is not a treaty since it was not been ratified by 2/3 of the Senate. There is no such thing as an 'Executive Only Treaty' but there is an Executive Agreement which is not legally binding but is a political statement between countries. Only a treaty ratified by Congress has any force of law.

Fair enough, Executive Agreement is what I was trying to reference. And yes, it has the full force of law because the President's word is a binding authority on the Country. It just also happens to be easier to overturn by a future administration.

Like I told william, you are free to try and make that argument, but she is thoroughly and completely protected by the First Amendment.

Her opinion on this issue is representative of an overwhelming majority of American voters.

Projections? She would lose in a heartbeat when people of 300 million could vote for her and realize she became a millionaire off of insider trading

Not related to what I said.

Her support for the Paris Climate Accord is in agreement with a significant majority of Americans.

Actually, I'd say half the nation was against Paris accord as it was insanely expensive and would have harmed US manufacturing even further while nations that are the WORST contributors to world pollution wouldn't have to meet minimum standards for decades. In essence, the US would be the primary subsidizers of the Paris accord and be the largest impacted.

Many who are against the Paris accord would be willing to sign it, it if were much fairer to the US.

It cannot have any force of law since it has not been ratified by Congress; thus, it is a political statement.

Why wouldnt China like it? They are "developing" so get a ton of breaks and delays.. Meanwhile their competition signed onto it without the same breaks and delays... And in 2030 they can just break the damn treaty there is no penalty as i have already provided.

They signed, but have DECADES before they have to meet minimum standards and their targeted minimum standards are standards the US adopted and met some 25 years ago!
