This is her way of telling Trump, "If the phone don't ring, you'll know its me!"

He is sitting there with his finger in his nose trying to make himself look good, but the reality is that he doesn't give a sht.
He had an offer by both houses that he accepted and then backed off after discussing it with a couple of talk show hosts, rather than with his advisors as usual.
He also promised to be in the Whitehouse "working for the people", and not playing golf. All he has to do is to end the shutdown, instead
of blaming it on everyone else but himself.

Paul Ryan is going out on a particularly ignominious note.

Much more so than John Bohner, who grinned and waved farwell! Now he's sipping wine and cutting (or is it selling) grass!

Mitch is fuming about being hung out to dry by the fool up the street. He's just as mad at himself for letting it happen. After all, this is exactly the same way Trump screwed up the GOP's first attempt to repeal the ACA.

He knows, he should have known better. And it's yet another demonstration of what everyone knows, Trump can't take any heat at all, and his has never been a man of his word, ever. He can't be trusted at all. By anyone!

Both houses of Congress presented Trump with a solution that he originally accepted and then rejected after discussing it with talk show hosts instead of with his advisors. What is Pelosi supposed to do, sit in her office? He had an offer and acceptance on the table and blew it. So who knows what he will agree to and she should not have to kowtow to his intransigence.

I know it's only noon in Hawaii, but I hope (sincerely) that some con on here tells me how she spends her Saturday at the resort and how much each activity costs... So much fun

All I get from RT.com (??) is that "Pelosi sips on festive cocktails served in coconut-cups"...... Nice!! Those are fun...

Spa? Pool? Golf?? (She's pretty old)

While it was December-warm (over 50 degrees) in Virginia today, it's no Kailua, coming in at a balmy 82 today.

    Remember your SPF, Mrs. Speaker-to-be!!

He has made a counter offer the Democrats wouldn't even consider and in fact LOWERED their money. All that needs to be done is the Democrats get back to work and make an honest offer instead of refusing to negotiate.

There was an agreement that he reneged on. He should have made that counter instead of accepting the agreement.

Which bill, the one in June. He said he would support the Goodlette bill and those were Congressional negotiations he wasn't involved. And as Trump said then it wouldn't have passed the Senate.

"The 121-301 vote came amid opposition from all Democrats and dozens of Republicans, who feared backing a bill that could be tagged as “amnesty” by the right — even though it closely aligned with Trump’s immigration proposal and received an all-caps Twitter endorsement from the president earlier in the day.

“HOUSE REPUBLICANS SHOULD PASS THE STRONG BUT FAIR IMMIGRATION BILL, KNOWN AS GOODLATTE II, IN THEIR AFTERNOON VOTE TODAY, EVEN THOUGH THE DEMS WON’T LET IT PASS IN THE SENATE,” Trump tweeted. “PASSAGE WILL SHOW THAT WE WANT STRONG BORDERS & SECURITY WHILE THE DEMS WANT OPEN BORDERS = CRIME. WIN!”"

Yes he's doing a great job and that's why we must support him in this effort by the ruling class to remove him from office

What selective outrage. Trump spend millions of taxpayers money playing golf and you don't give a damn. Did Pelosi spent her own money or not??

I saw that one, but forgot to come back to it..... Can you imagine Nancy Pelosi on a surfboard??

    I mean, Really??

Sure hope she's having a good time and relaxing this weekend.... going to be one BUSY lady for the next 2 years....

She's not my favorite person in Congress, but she's going to be the adult in the room when dealing with Trump or McCarthy...
