Thats not deficit, and that graph shows its debt is stable (and very low) for the EU the last few years, trump almost doubled the deficit in 2 year.

Germany for example will have a close to 1.5% budget surpluss, UK is luckly if its stays under 3% deficit.
Almost half of the EU has budget surplus but no not the UK.

UK debt is increasing year on year. Germany debt is decreasing year on year. Sweden debt stable, Denmark debt stable. The EU is not a country

You are correct the EU is not a country.
It does however still have an economy and government debt.

Used as a comparison it gives a similar sized and developed economy to the USA. A rival model to look at it.

Go ahead give this graph, and then try to get one that lists this year or the past fiscal year.

Again, UK has a massive deficit, not as bad as the US but one of the worst from OECD coutnries, germany has a huge surplus.

Then EU debt is very stable while the US one is going trough the roof.
