DeSantis shut down Florida as soon as Trump issued the guidelines, and Abbott and other GOP governors followed suit. Its silly as hell to see them pretend it never happened. DeSantis actually blames Trump for it, and Trump blames him, when they actually did it together.

LOL. No, he wants Trump for the obvious reasons, and he has zero reasons of being scared of him. Trump will hand Putin the keys to Ukraine, and the rest of Europe.

Yes I said as much. But don't play stupid. You know damn well it was conservatives that wanted to reopen much MUCH sooner then we actually did. And DeSantis was scolded for not going heavy handed with his covid policies.

    You. Are trying to obfuscate.

You wanted to know why conservatives come down on harder on Biden than Trump and I've explained it to you. Democrats seemed to relish in control and locking down and mandates and pressure to do the vaccine dance. Biden was all about that. Trump was all about leaving the choice up to the individual.

    DeSantis was no different.

Yes. Are you under the impression Putin WANTS the US to continue supporting Ukraine, and to see NATO expand with new Western additions like Finland and Sweden?

The debt was extremely high before the pandemic too. He ran a huge deficit every year he was in office. The Republicans had control of the House, Senate, and the Presidency for 2 years. They gave tax cuts to billionaires and skyrocketed the deficit. That's about it. Did they fix immigration? - NO.

After getting us through the horrific GW Bush recession, Obama/Biden reduced the deficit in 5 of their last 6 years. As for Biden, despite inheriting all the additional interest on Trump's $8 Trillion in added debt, he is projected to come in at $7 Trillion.

Because he blocked the Bipartisan Senate border bill, the most comprehensive border bill in the history of the US, Trump is responsible for all the fentanyl and illegal immigrants in 2024. Is calling Haiti "a shithole" good foreign policy? What's not to like about ----1. Record stock market levels. 2. Lowest unemployment in 50 years, 3. Finally a Climate Change bill! 4. Infrastructure bill (a fail for Trump) 5. Chips and Science Act (American products, American jobs). 6. Our streets are relatively peaceful! That's not an accident. 7. And most importantly - a diplomat is in the White House - not a hate spewing Narcissist.

Sorry, but that does not pass the common sense test, because it implies Putin wages war which he wants to lose, But no one is that dumb. Without foreign help, Ukraine would be part of Russia already, but now Putin has tp wait until Trump becomes president.

Not sure what you classify as "common sense". Putin wants Biden to cbontinue in office so his war can continue. Trump took action to bolster NATO - tough love actually.- telling them to heed their pledges to spend 2% of GDP to NATO.

Putin says he wants Biden - we should believe him.

Common sense failure = thinking Putin wants endless war as opposed to winning it.

This is an example of an idea which does not pass the common sense test.

LOL. They had already increased spending and now with Biden they are spending more than ever, and even had two new members join, one of which is a direct neighbor with Russia and had 900 000 men in reserve. It was the last thing Putin wanted, but I'm sure you'll argue it was exactly what he wanted. For him Trump means winning the war, which is obviously what he wants.
