If you can’t build your own architecture then you must rely on foreign semiconductors. That means that whoever owns intellectual property on the design of these semiconductors can refuse to sell them to you.

No, China just assembles. The design is mostly done in the US. iOS and Android are both designed by the US companies. Device drives for on-board devices on a smartphone, like WiFi or Bluetooth, must be installed by the phone manufacturer. If there are producer sanctions then the OS can be programmed to block the device driver, which will brick the whole thing.

Sorry, but since 2014 there’s been plenty of precedent of Russian troops crossing into Ukraine.

how many countries in the world have architecture and manufacturing? That's when they stop selling - then we'll see. I don't think military equipment runs on American microchips. It means that there are some opportunities in Russia.
Yes, but these were not troops, but humanitarian convoys. Ukraine, on the other hand, has declared a complete blockade and embargo of Donbass... of the territory that it considers its own (and this, however, no one disputes). But someone needs to feed people if Ukraine refused them and offered to die, if not from Ukrainian shelling, then at least from hunger.

And that's what our propaganda networks tell us. There's a saying:

'Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me'.

They say we can't fool everyone,

although it has been on my mind.

    1. Even a basic computer monitor will have something in it that has American designs.
    2. Russia is a largely urbanized metropolitan society. You strip them of their toys and you’ll have a fairly upset population. Very few people realize the extend of the reach of American economic power in modern society.

There were documented cases of troops crossing the border. The convoys themselves could have been a cover for delivery of mercenaries and military equipment.

It’s a standard response - forces Russia to spend more resources while giving Ukraine a chance to preserve their own. Starving an enemy, especially a more powerful enemy, is a real strategy of war.

They want to be independent. They have fields. They can grow their own wheat and vegetables. If their leadership cannot manage then they are free to come back to Ukraine and negotiate an amnesty in exchange for taking back control. Otherwise, they can continue to milk russian taxpayers.

This does not mean that the Russians should bow and obey the "white master".
    but might not be
OK. Ukraine has been at war with Russia for 8 years, but Russia never came to the war - even at Biden's request.
I do not think that if they are constantly fired upon, they will be happy to return.

Of course not. But we don’t have to sell you our stuff if we disagree with your behavior. Go make your own chips!

Russia was there from day one. I quoted Pootins lies for you in another post.

According to Ukraine, they are being fired upon by Russians, not the other way around. There are OSCE observers on the ground who tend to side with Ukraine on this.

That's why they do their thing https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elbrus_(computer). Of course, while "not a fountain", but we won't be left without servers and computers.
Don't you understand that this is nonsense? :icon_shithappens: But for some reason propaganda and lies are attributed to Putin.

Force and pressure on nations and people who refuse to do our bidding, has become so much a part of Washington, that they could care less whether the people in Donbas lived or died for refusing to bow down to Kiev.

What a testament to the humanity of the liberal world order that the Washington 'elites' now envision.

Didn't Zalensky say that Russia is not threatening Ukraine? This means he's a Russian asset.

My God! Can anyone in this world be trusted anymore.

No, servers and computers will stop working too. Almost all networking equipment is designed in the US. Intel and AMD are american semiconductor companies, and Windows is as well, so your options for networking will be very limited. While russia could have some wiggle room with Linux, it could have serious difficulties replacing systems like Cisco.

Considering the fact that the russian president is known to go on TV and lie through his teeth, Ukraine has more credibility in making such claims. ;)

Wanted to add to my prior post - today, all MS office applications are being sold as a service. The US can cripple Russian economy by simply forcing Microsoft to shut you off. To understand the impact, look into the office buildings in your town and think - every office in it has a PC with MS Word and Excel installed. You cripple them all, and even your small businesses will have no ability to do basic bookkeeping and planning outside of what you can do in 1C.
Some might laugh about Excel and SQL server, but removing them all at once in an instance would bring Russian economy on its knees in a matter of days.

He did not keep your family safe, nor did he help create the basis for long-term prosperity in this country. Trump weakened our alliances, especially with NATO countries. On the economic side, he failed to rebuild our infrastructure, public and private.
You may not care, but something as simple as running his mouth may have cost him the 2020 election.

It’s been my impression that this was the main reason why he lost in 2020. Trumps platform is pretty good, and he took some very good stances, but almost all of his good gestures followed with some very badly worded tweets, or even press conferences where he got emotional and went off script.
In politics it’s ok to take a very unorthodox position on some issue, but if you want to succeed then you really need to have some good communication with the public. Because of that, I think Ted Cruz and Ron DeSantis can become great presidents, as they stay on point, can poke fun at opponents, and still stay respectful.

Next in regard to "Bill Carson" stating:
    You boys? Lol.

First off "Bill Carson: you stated and I quote: 'There is 150 million people in Russia". 150 million is a plural number so you should have used the verb are not is. The reference was to a plural number. So your answer to me is absolute nonsense. You were not using the word "it is".

Your plural number was in reference to the term people or population which are collective terms for more than on person so the verb tense should be plural. The verb you used refers to a plural number of a collective of beings, and "people" is a noun not a pronoun.

I brought it up only to question how someone with the name "Bill Carson" makes such a basic grammar mistake and then tries to justify it as you have.

See to me that feeds into my concern that you may not be American but using the name "Bill Carson" to pose as American and I would have an issue with that because other Russians have come on this forum and posed as Americans and used your rhetoric including the phrase "you boys" for anyone who may not know is often an FSB term used for people like me who they perceive as also being government operatives. Lol. However that is all immaterial to the points I challenged and you have not responded to instead deflecting to the grammar comment which was tongue in cheek and I will now refrain from again. Use all the questionable grammar you want.

Let's deal with the real issue the pro Putin script you present which is of course your perfect right. I am challenging it.

Also I never said "American" was a language. In fact when people use the expression "American" in terms of language we mean dialect . A Russian sees the language "Russian" and the nationality "Russian" as being one and the same. Those of us who speak ENGLISH know it has many dialects, Indian, American, British, Canadian, New Zealander, Australian, South Arican, Irish. Oooooopsy you slipped again. Read back what I said. Nowhere did I pose American as a language. It certainly is an English dialect. There now you can get that right for future scripts. Do that.

I jjst am no sure about the current FSB training. So many clumsy errors that would never have happened back in the 60's and 70's. The scripts are very clumsy today. Too much dependence on your translators. Get out more.

There are at least 24 American dialects in the US.

I did provide an even more precise response to your population comparison to challenge its absurdity.

One last thing. The concept of people rebelling and revolting from the government in control oh I know it frightens you right? This has nothing to do with Ukraine give it a rest. This has to do with Putin worried his own people are going to turn on him and he has to show how tough he is to prevent another Kazakistan, Georgia,Chechnya and make up for the failure in Afghanistan which he carries like the US does Vietnam. He also has to flex because his puppet is gone.

He can't humiliate the US using Trump as his stooge to embarass and divide NATO and hero worship him.

Go on "Bill Carson" you think some of us do not watch "Russia"'s internal mess? Lol. You think Vlad is the first dictator to try use war to distract from his own failures? Really, "Bil Carson"?

p.s. "Bill Carson" there are cities called Moscow in the states of Maine, Arkansas, Alabama, Kentucky and Iowa and a Saint Petersburg in Florida, there is also Volga and Tolstoy in South Dakota and Sebastapol in California-did they teach you that in any briefings?

Here "Bill Carson" here is why Vlad is making big farting noises:

We'll never know exactly why Trump lost, but this had to contribute.

I never have figured out why pols act like jackasses. Leaving Trump aside, why would Newsom hold a gathering at a super-expensive restaurant during a lockdown? Why would Slick Willie Clinton chase bimbos or meet with the AG on a tarmac? Why would Cuomo hit on women half his age?

You'd think being elected President or governor of an important state would be such an honor you would never want to blow it.
