We don't need to use perfume since we wash daily. The mix of heavy perfume and smelly armpit in the ME is nausiating.

 

Soap was created and used way before that. And perfume were common in Rome and Greece and don't forget about the Asian either.

See in the great scheme of things, you're not better than anybody else. And since you have to go back to antiquity to try to find something the arab did that was worthwile is quite telling. Got anything in the 21st, 20th, 19th, 18th, 17th century? Something that us westerner can't live without and that the arab invented?

Bottom line: this is the same guy that has been wailing to the world for the last decade or so that Iran is just a month or two from having a tactical nuke. I say cut off that biannual $2 billion in "aid", and Israel would hammer out a peace treaty with the Palestinians so fast it would break the sound barrier! My opinion is that it is an interesting topic, but one that gives absolutely zero help in what should be done today.

Today we believe in the rule of law, have strong concepts of individual rights, including personal property rights, self determination, equal representation, etc.

We should be supporting that, not occupation and ethnic cleansing - regardless of what happened in 1600.
