We had the Black Death from 1346 to 1353 (and various recurrences, since), the Yellow Fever epidemic of 1793, the Flu Pandemic of 1889-1890, the Polio in 1916, the Spanish Flu in 1918-20, the Asian Flu of 1957-58, AIDS starting in 1981, and the more recent but smaller Swine Flu, Ebola, and Zica.

So, it happens from time to time, therefore I see nothing absurd about it.

I'm surprised this was allowed to survive all these months. If it ever came to the forefront again and threatened the narrative, Google would certainly make it go away.

 

Even with that error, Texas lost more than 1000 souls to Covid-19 last week.

This **** is definitely more deadly than the seasonal flu - please do not buy into the conspiracy bullshit about deaths being overcounted. At this point, it is entirely much more likely that we are undercounting covid-19 deaths because our medical resources are simply stretched too thin to capture all of the deaths that happen outside of medical facilities.

 

The notion that google would somehow "make" a public statement issued at a national press conference "go away" just proves how far down the conspiratorial rabbit hole you are willing to go.

It does not matter to me if you feel like a select segment of a quote from early april still controls for every reporting agency across the country - it doesn't. Covid-19 deaths are counted because a medical practicioner determined that Covid-19 played a causal role in their death. When someone dies in a manner where it is exceedingly clear that Covid-19 did not play a role, i.e. like the motorcycle accident in Florida, then they are removed from the roles even if they might mistakenly get included initially.

This is a massive crisis and mistakes will be made.

But there is no mistaken the fact that more than 100,000 of your fellow Americans have died from Covid-19. It is a disservice to their memory to continually pretend like they did not die or that Covid-19 is not an extremely dangerous virus.

Specifically, if you look at the average number of deaths announced from all causes in the areas which are hardest hit by this virus, you quickly realize that more people are dying than the average for that time and place. That amount of "excess deaths" is still noticeable and excess even AFTER you account for the announced covid-19 deaths.

The numbers are all fake. NO other country pays $13,000 to list a nursing home death as "covid-19" - but $0 if the flu, pneumonia or another cause. NO other country pays $29,000 merely for putting someone on a ventilator even if not testing positive for covid-19. No country pays 20% for medical coverage if - and only if - the patient is listed as a covid-19 patient. Exactly NO proof nor even a test is required.

Of course if the government is paying tens of thousands of dollars each as bribery to falsely list a patient or death as covid-19 - with ZERO documentation to back it up - is going to have astronomical numbers of false covid-19 cases and deaths. There is no verification or auditing whatsoever. I'm surprised the fake numbers aren't even higher.
