    I wonder if engaging this person is worthwhile. He hardly ever says anything directly...when he does, he either can't back it up or backs it up with a link that doesn't support his claims.

    Better to point out any "errors" if they matter and move along. Ignore those that don't..

    Patients Discharged to Long-term Care (LTC) or Assisted Living Facilities The guidance addresses three patient scenarios for COVID-19 patients discharged to an LTC facility or an assisted living facility. 1. Transferred COVID-19 patients for whom TBPs are still required should go to a facility with adequate personal protective equipment and an ability to adhere to infection prevention and control recommendations for the care of COVID-19 patients. Preferably, the patient would be placed at a facility that has already cared for COVID-19 cases, in a specific unit designated to care for COVID-19 residents. 2. Transferred COVID-19 patients for whom TBPs have been discontinued, but continue to have persistent symptoms of COVID-19 (e.g., a persistent cough) should be placed in a single room and be restricted to their room. 3. Transferred COVID-19 patients for whom TBPs have been discontinued and the symptoms have resolved do not require further restrictions.

    Comorbidities are co-existing conditions. As such, they can be an independent underlying health conditions (the sense in which you are using it) OR conditions with a causal relationship (e.g. one caused by another). I am using the term in this broad sense - that is, incorporating both.

    The same holds true for the CDC comorbidity stats. The information comes from death certificates where COVID-19 is the cause of death. Death certificates itemize BOTH the above - conditions caused by/related to COVID-19 (e.g. pneumonia, sepsis, ARDS) as well as independent health conditions (e.g. obesity, diabetes) contributing to death.

    I do not believe for ONE SECOND that if someone dies from a car crash, plane crash, gunshot wound, blunt force trauma, drowning, food poisoning, suffocation, hanging, head injury, the CDC lists them as a Covid death if they had Covid.

    not for one damn second. this is total FAKE NEWS

    Just another case of a HUGELY biased journalistic source, misunderstanding ENTIRELY a scientific paper. I mean, in this case, it's not ignorance, it's disingenuous. By the way, why is it that people who love to compare death rates always forget about OTHER consequences of Covid-19, for those who don't die? Some very scary ones out there... and much more numerous than the number of deaths.

    Anyway, I'm too tired of this s.... to energetically fight it off as I was doing before. I've been posting less on Covid-19 because frankly, the level of ignorance around this issue is just too frustrating.

    Months ago in Orlando a man who died in a motorcycle crash was listed as a Covid death. It's old news indeed. The local Fox station found it, along with many other examples of inaccurate listings for cause of death.

    There is an agenda being advanced, in accordance with Plandemic.
