Let's get rid of police in NY, Chicago, Detroit, and Baltimore. They hate police there. Let's give them what they want, sit back, and watch (with popcorn) what happens.

Give them their wish! Secure borders to other cities though so the anarchy doesn't spread.

Your definition of brutality is disparate of reality. He was taken down, handcuffed, and released.
Your thread title is not only bull(*)(*)(*)(*), but outside of the rules of creation.

DING DING DING!!!! We have a winner. Its like cops NEVER falsely identify white people....in Lib La la Land. Was he hurt? No!!! He was detained in cuffs for 10 minutes. End of discussion. He probably didn't even miss his talks at the US Open.

Sure, if a cop walked up and calmly asked for his ID, because he is accused of XYZ, no tackling or cuffs would have been needed. Perfect world=) But guaranteed, 99/100 guys instantly RUN, which forces cop to tackle everybody because they could easily dart into the street and get hit by a car, which would apparently be the cops fault too. Or, they'll see the cops coming and whip out a knife or gun. WHo knows. I get it. I don't like it, but blame all the VIOLENT perps for forcing cops to instantly feel threatened all the time.

Can each side in these discussions please please please stop for just a few minutes and think before you attack your opponents and smear certain groups of people? These cops were bad to abuse James Blake. That's as much as you need to say. Beyond that, saying the cops are racist or that minorities are criminals is just plain stereotyping. It's as if these threads are just a new excuse to be prejudiced against the out group (whatever group that happens to be).

So it looks like people are slowly but surely waking up to the fact we are now a police state thanks to a lot to stuff like the patriot act, NNDA, and the fact we put them on a pedestal in the courts when they are humans and do make mistakes or violate the laws in this country and tend to get a cozy deal out of breaking the law by the way of paid vacations, and keeping their pensions.

But seriously, if you can't tell James Blake a U.S. player for the U.S tennis opener from a common black man on the streets, then I do have to wonder your I.Q level.

I see some of the people on this thread thinks it alright for police officers to detain a suppect based on gut feelings you're wrong by the way. Probable cause is not a gut feeling he must be doing something wrong.

What the hell does a "common black man" look like? Its amusing you imply racism and then use it yourself.

I didn't imply racism son I said I questioned his I.Q level since even I know, who James Blake is. I don't know how that would imply I am saying he was racist just not that smart. "Common black men" are people who aren't famous. So I don't get how that's bad, I believe it is you that has been using the race card now.

I find it striking that all I ever hear about is how racist the South is, yet all but one of these "racist" cop on black unarmed fellers has all happened up north.

Anyways, this type of crap never happened under Gulianni. He needs to take over.

The purge would be real. Take the guns out of the hands of the law abiding citizens, remove the police, and turn on the cameras. Wow. It would be a horrific site.

You mean him being clean cut and well dressed as opposed to sagging jeans, a dirty white wife beater, and dreadlocks?

Because I'd never even heard of him until yesterday.

How nice of you that you though that was witty enough to post. Also anyone who watched tennis would know who he was since he was on par with Sarena Willams in the men's league for tennis. image.jpg

Yeah, but that doesn't whip up the cop haters into a lathered frenzy.

How many of the New York police force watch tennis? I'm not able to find that stat anywhere.

Police have been known to arrest the wrong person, in rare cases:
    http://abc11.com/news/case-of-mistaken-identity-lands-durham-teen-in-jail-/764812/

The suspect can languish in jail for days or even months before the mistake finally gets sorted out. It's a conveyor belt styled justice system. The judge often won't even listen to the defendant at the arraignment (the initial court appearance that has to take place within 3 days following the arrest).

The disgrace is this fella wasn't brutalized. He's been all over TV like a whiney little girl, with nary a bruise to show for his sob story.

It still doesn't give them the right to beat him up protesting police abusing their authority is not being a "cop hater". I hate when cops abuse their authorities as law officers because it made my now retired father's job a lot harder on him due to the distrust it garnered.

lolol. Good one! Talk about an agenda. I'm sniffing out a racist toward whites statement here.

Is he even black? He looks maybe 1/2 black to me.

I'm offended about wrongful arrest and brutality toward any white person. Oops, I'm a racist! Is that not true when it's the other way around? Or are just whites allowed to be racist?

And so, good people, we see the real problem! Arrest and brutality, real or imagined, toward any BLACK person. That's the real agenda. And now you know why America is in the toilet! Everything is about race! If you don't believe me, ask 0bama!
