    I am not calling you or anyone else taking umbrage as racist. I am thinking you are taking this far too seriously and seeing it as 'anti white'. I choose to see it as 'inclusion'. And considering the overwhelming majority of Black men playing in the league, it isn't a big deal - it is showing them respect.

    And when those same don't show respect themselves than why should we show them respect
    if they refuse to show respect for the nations flag the nations anthem they get no respect from me for any of their chosen symbolism
    respect goes both ways respect is earned

    I’ve got an even BETTER idea.

    How about at games we will announce that we are playing the Black National Anthem lift every voice and sing... and then we can announce we are playing the White National Anthem and play the actual anthem.

    How does that sound? Too divisive? I think it sounds pretty good myself.

    The white national anthem is way better than the black one anyway.

    Where did I call it 'anti white'? I just think it's divisive.
    Seems like many blacks now choose self segregation.

    So a protest now is disrespect? Somehow a group of Americans decided to ignore the reason for the kneeling and decided it was to show blatant disrespect to flag and country. If that's how you see it, that's your business. But it isn't correct.

    Isn’t “inclusion” better symbolized by embracing the national anthem that every race pays homage to?

    Creating or using your own national anthem specifically for your race is the very epitome of what it means to be not inclusive.

    If the event was black only, OK....but it's not.
    If the reaction would differ if it was any other race, something is off.
    Whites could certainly not do such a thing without being called racist.

    By playing that song in a stadium full of people, they are being included - not excluded. If they were forced to stay outside of the stadium for the song, THAT would be exclusion.
