Except, no crime took place. Trump did not commit any crime whatsoever and the DOJ along with other elements in our gov't are looking into corruption, that Joe Biden is a part of. It's all partisan politics and Schiff and others have a goal to destroy the current Administration. It has been the goal since Trump took office. They didn't even hide it. Since Democrats know this can't actually work, they would be better off letting the American public vote Trump out of office and in the meantime, work to get real legislation done. I view it has nothing short of a coup attempt.

This isn't slinging dope in an alley, this is an attempt to remove a sitting president. The ultimate jury is we, the people. If this whistle blower doesn't testify Dems can be sure they'll lose the House in 2020...
Only one of all the witnesses witnessed the call in person and he said that he had a similar opinion as the whistle blower. That is not a 1% corroboration let alone 100%.
This defense is the one I get the least. Trump says he was just trying to get them to investigate corruption. K. Let's just accept that on its face for now. The timeline of corruption that was being investigated was before Hunter joined the board. Yet Trump mentioned Biden specifically. Plus, why bring it up now, if not for political purposes? Hunters been on that board since 2014. Nothing about this defense makes sense WRT objective reality, nor does it even affect the central issue at hand which is whether or not Trump held up aid in exchange for the investigation (or even just the announcement of one). Which, from all available evidence (beyond a single WB view on it) suggests yes.
