Eventually all the facts will come out. But, there not a shred of proof, he was choked to death, lynched, dragged thru the streets, raped, or had his body defiled. Not a single stick of evidence to support those assertions. there is evidence on the other hand that it was not the case.

Or is this one of the FOX news reports that an anonymous person who has coffee in the same shop as a state department official who knew a guy in filing that claims he saw a document that refered to a cable that supposedly somebody else got that was marked secret, but who left it on their desk for the office cleaner to read, who told their arabic neighbour who's brother is a mole in the romney campaign that told FOX news of its existence.

I have no reason to disbelieve that bad guys are Ansar Al Sharia. That they are linked to AQ remains to be seen. And what exactly "linked" means. Having a poster of OBL on the wall isn't linked? sharing comms and codes and operations is linked.

After 8 weeks we should have all of the details. We don't. The regime ran out the clock. Next week the hearings will begin in earnest. I am sure Ambassador Steven's cause of death will be explored.

Actually I do. Not that it is relevant to this discussion but while I was on active duty I had access to all the usual things a military intelligence officer routinely does.

Believe as you wish. The topic was whether or not Ansar al-Sharia had said they are linked to Al Qaeda. I have you excerpts from four of five accounts showing stories from the next day to next week showed that over and over the bad guys were identified as Ansar al-Sharia and Al Qaeda.

This just shows that despite the regime's narrative Al Qaeda's brand has not been diminished. They have done what insurgents have done many times before. They splinter. They are linked through only one person. They rely upon common goals without centralized direction.

I was around when Martin Luther King Jr was fighting for civil rights. I saw how black people were treated.
It makes me absolutely sick what the black community has done with the gift handed to them by truly great and courageous Americans, both blacks and all others who supported TRUE civil rights,

Our freedoms have been getting eroded more and more over the years, it no longer even remotely resembles the America I grew up in.

Most people dont realize it, but the terrorists actually have won since 9/11. To win, America doesnt have to stop ALL acts of terrorism on its people and shores, but we lose when the fear of any terrorist attack allows us to give up so many of our freedoms in the name of security.

Freedom secures nothing in a person except a clear conscience. It doesnt deny pain, prevent death, or insure justice, it only guarantees that you can enjoy the one single greatest gift that God has given us, and if you want to throw yours away fine, but dont try to take mine, or I will bite your fukking hand.

I don't hate America in the least little bit. I am a canadian and am very very grateful that we are neighbours as I believe we couldn't be the country we are without america as our biggest economic and security partner.

I do on the other hand have a hard time with intolerance. YOu could say I am intolerant of intolerance, I am bigotted against bigots.

In Canada we don't think liberal is a dirty word, in fact Liberals have dominate our political landscape until quite recently when they totally blew it in their arrogance and stale ideas. But we do think marxism and communism are failed philosophies of the past with no place in the future.
