Obama Decries "Super Pacs", Then Forms One Of His Own

It sounds more like jealousy to me. The fact is that his campaign raised that money person by person. Small donations, one at a time. The People felt inspired enough to mobilize and donate to his campaign. The Republican canidates wish they had that sort of networking. Instead, every single canidate in the current GOP field is raising squat and would have been out of it long ago if it were not for their mysterious Super-PAC millionaires. The only GOP canidate who seems to be able to raise money is Gov. Romney.

I think the analogy of one Democrat says it best, when he suggested you don't bring a knife to a gun fight. If the Republicans and the Democrats are comparable to the street gangs in West Side story (they don't seem any more rational or functional at the moment), then trying to keep the nasty stuff out of the rumble isn't a bad thing. When your efforts fail, you'd better arrive at that rumble strapped or you're definitely going to get killed.
