Not sure why this is a current event- since it was reported 14 months ago, and I will have to research more, but frankly, I don't see any good reason on the face of it to prevent the re-importation of the M1.

Not that its a 2nd Amendment issue- no one has the 'right' to import anything but just a common sense issue- I really see no reason why this weapon shouldn't be allowed to be re-imported.

 

Perhaps, your impression was wrong, and you should have asked for a clarification before you went on your GOP/schools rant.

Why not allow American gun owners to buy one? They are no more dangerous than a 30-06 deer rifle.
