Because its not yours! The fact that someone else has more than you doesn't entitle you to what they have. Look how far California has come and see where extremely high taxes get you. Crumbling roads and poverty.

Using global standards, you are considered wealthy. Would it be reasonable to tax you at 70%?

She put this top tax bracket idea for people making over $10 million, so why are you talking about **** that she didn’t even bring up? Move the goalpost much?

Well I for one think this idea should get a vote in the House. Pelosi should be asked if she will allow Ocasio-Cortez's bill to come to the floor for a vote.

Well, considering your side doesn’t actually care about net neutral proposals after lying about how much revenue the tax break would bring in, and how many trillions it would bring back to the US, why in the world should anybody listen to you?

So we have replaced the concept of equality on which our nation was built with the greedy desire to get other people's money. I really miss the greatest generation.

Which percent of earners is the 'tippy top' as AOC likes to say?

LOL, so you don’t actually have anything to contribute but insults? I’m old enough to remember when Trump basically proposed a similar initiative in 1999 with a one-time tax on basically the same tax bracket.

It’s literally the first time I’ve even commented on such a proposal on these forums, honey. Stop dreaming about me all the time.

Just putting things in prospective for you. Globally, people see you the same way you see those making 10 million. Its the same goalpost, same logic. Its different when you're the target, isn't it?

Well that wouldn't even cover the current deficit. Where is she going to get the extra 4 trillion a year. We don't even pull that much revenue in now.

We’re just gonna cut taxes to pay for it. Republicans have been telling us for decades that is how it works.

It actually makes the proposal seem even less egregious considering the parallel puts the ridiculousness of people making over $10 million a year into a global perspective. So, good work.

Where are you even getting this $4 trillion a year number from? Sounds pretty made up.

Liberal think tank conservatively estimates the New Green Deal will cost 40 trillion over 10 years.

Link the study or the think tank's name. Do it. Let's see you back up your "facts" for once.

So it’ll be a big tax cut to fund it. Problem solved!
