Occupy Wall Street kitchen staff protesting fixing food for freeloaders

My understanding is that the '99%' want to take from the '1%'. Some may call that a freeloader. Some make call that a thief. I call it pathetic jealousy.

 

To clear up the lefts purposefully derailing semantics arguments surrounding the term "socialism"....

Infrastructure available to EVERYONE can, in no way, shape or form, be considered the same as confiscating money from one individual...Peter... and giving it to another individual...Paul....who is endowed with the identical, constitutionally protected rights and equality of opportunity as Peter.

There....now, in the future, please avoid the "roads and defense and police and firefighters" argument to defend "socialism"....it's really silly.

I already stated my thought on this in the first post of mine in this thread. If that was missed by you, not my fault.

 

Some of the 99% want a handout, and that is the freeloader mindset. However, not all protesters fall into that category. Some are demanding a level playing field and an end to the criminal collusion between our politicians and Wall Street. What's wrong with that? Nothing! That is something that both left and right can unite behind. Unfortunately, many people are so closed-minded that they are afraid to rub shoulders with fellow Americans just because they have a different political orientation, even though we are all being screwed alike by our overweening government.

Yes, but ask anyone of these people about policy and they'll tell you their non-sensical world view. OWS is a bunch of free loaders, pot smokers, anti-semites and trouble makers that enjoy conflict and attention. Why else would they instigate fights with police officers and break laws? The entire nature of these protests is a violent overthrow of government through civil disobedience and riots. Finding the regular 9-5, working class protestors is like trying to find the black guys at the Tea Party Rally.

 

OWS is union from conception to implementation. Stop making it something other than it is.

The irony of this situation is absolutely hysterical. So, the OWS protestors do not want to share the food with those that have less than them (the homeless) because the protestors are the ones who worked all day preparing it, so why should the homeless get to feed from their hard earned trough?

I've been outraged at the abuses of our government for a long time, and my rage isn't manufactured. Ditto many others.

I attended a local OWS event to see for myself what was going on. Have you done the same, or are you an armchair warrior?

There are some people who will find any excuse to party. Are you judging all of the OWS protesters as identical clones?

They are not there to denounce the philosophies of differing political orientations. They are protesting cronyism and criminal activity. I protest the same things; don't you?

Tea party members don't take over parks for weeks on end and annoy and damage the incomes of working people in the areas. They don't break the law and engage in confrontations with the police.

And furthermore, I'm not any % of anyone's group. I'm me. I'm not a 1%er, a 99%er or a 249%er. I'm an individual. I"m not part of a collective or a commune or some misguided bunch of group thinkers. I think for myself and I don't embrace everything that any group or party puts forth.

In short, I'm like most Americans. And we're not like these squatters.

I don't think they purpose of the protests was to feed the homeless. I think it was to protest the financial institutions undue influence on the country.
