The quality of liberal posts on these forums really does seem to have hit an all time low. It appears that the liberals just don't know what to say any more since are seeing the great European socialism experiment going down in flames after years of them telling us we need to be just like Europe. The absolute failure of all of Obama's power grab political moves failing to live up to their billing while driving up the deficit at a record pace really sums up how their moronic ideas just don't work in the real world.

The clear failure of their absurdly naive ideas seems to be starting to get to them. Some of them like boy scout, for example, seem to be reverting to an child-like state as can be seen in his latest posts. It is certainly interesting to watch. Disturbing, but interesting.

But the homeless, being homeless, would certainly make the homeless, as part of their 99% group.

    Okay.

Once again the purpose of the protests does not seem to be to feed the homeless but rather protesting against the undue influence of the financial institutions in this country.

You still don't get it, do you? If that's your argument, the "rich" could say, the purpose of their investments, their education, their financial risks, their long hours of work, were not to feed the rest of America.

Well you do know that their hard work is never equal to those intellectual progressives who would rather camp out and protests! (sarcasm intended)

Those tolerant progressives who always stand for those who are unable to stand for themselves............ that is unless they are hungry homeless freeloaders. LOL

Why are they so resistant to the redistribution of wealth? I thought that's what they wanted?

I am not sure what that nonsense has to do with anything I said. I have never once, not a single time, stated that I approved of what they were protesting.

Really? So you do NOT approve of the OWS protestors?

I think that qualifies as a rather poor straw man argument.

You are attempting to change terms around and claim that the protest were one thing without providing anything for that basis other than what appears to be rather rhetorical right wing radio soundbites.

Yes, really. Really, really, really. You get it? Not everything is black and white. Not every conclusion is reached because of the grousing of anonymous people on the internet.

I don't know what that means. Do I approve of their actions or of their intent?

Ouch, looks like someone is getting a bit testy. I guess when you have no argument, you resort to things like this. Have a nice day, lol.

You're actually trying to pretend that OWS aren't a bunch of leftists? Unbelievable...

“We need to limit the amount of food we’re putting out” to curb the influx of derelicts, said Rafael Moreno, a kitchen volunteer.

What a heartless creep.

Oh, the irony is so delicious.

Read: hypocrisy. Now the homeless and criminals get victimized all over again. Where's their compassion? Where's their tolerance? They're just totally harshing on those poor homeless and criminals. That's soooooo not cool. What a bunch of bogarts. Way to kick a man when he's down.

Ah yes, the next straw man argument. brilliant in your assigning me a position and then arguing against it. I applaud you. Personally, I would feel dirty misrepresenting the position of others but you don't seem to have an issue with it.

Hey, thanks for the link to the op ed. I tend to be able to form my own opinions, but apparently out of the two of us, that leaves just me in that position.

That's just not fair. They're not giving enough. They can do better. They are now guilty of perpetuating the very "financial structure" that you claim they are protesting. What a bunch of hypocrites. OF course the irony is more delicious than the organic spaghetti bolognese that they just yanked out of a homeless guy's hand...

So you are completely missing the irony of people claiming to champion out of work people denying food to those very people?

Indeed, I do applaud you for backing off. I would have been perfectly happy to explain my position if there had been a coherent asking for it, but alas, I am alone in my articulation.

I think this may actually serve as a great education for the mostly young, affluent, Ivy League leftist grad students who are certainly involved in the leadership of this affair. Let's call the law of unintended consequences. Maybe they'll finally learn that you can only strangle the golden goose so much before it dies.

Not sure what that babbling mess of incoherence has to do with me or anything I said.
