Occupy Wall Street vs. the Tea Party. (What if the Tea Party had done it?)

Don't think the media has that much of a double standard. Most of what I've heard of both is negative which confirms my own opinion of them. Both government and Wall Street are necessary things in today's world, they could both work better but all in all the USA is much above average for the world.

 

I would love to see the tea party version of occupy wall street, it may go something like this.

The stage is set for the biggest rally america has ever seen, new york at a stand still. The stock brokers transfixed at the spectacle. Palin in string bikini shouts in the microphone "god hates f.ags as the thousands of tea party groupies fire their shotguns in agreement.

What "change" does the OWS rabble want? A large segment of OWS wants more freebies from the govt with NO IDEA how that could be possible. Then another large segment of OWS wants to do away with govt and have anarchy [while still being supported BY the govt] The remaining OWS rabble are just wackos.

They hang around because they have nowhere productive to go. And their lives are a waste of time so why not waste more time trying to get laid by a really odoriferous fellow traveler.

Many major parties/organizations/groups began as movements. If they had your thought process, they would not exist.

South Carolina voters, 19% opposed the tea party. 81% did not. Liberals avoidance of reality is why you got surprised in 2010 and why you'll get surprised again. Republicans will take control of both Houses of Congress. Even if obama were reelected, he'd be a lame duck, powerless to do anything except veto the stream of repeals of his idiotic policies coming across his deck..

 

No. The media never said anything bad about the Tea Party, but loved covering the havoc that went on at OWS. Then again, the only news I ever watch is Faux News...

 

Faux News, is that some liberal propaganda station? Must be since FOX and ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC, and MSNBC all showed people holding signs that were inappropriate at tea party rallies. They didn't show violence and arrests of idiots because there was none.

Can anyone please show me where during any Tea Party rally there was

1) drug use
2) rapes
3) assualts on Police Officers
4) smashing of store windows
5) destruction of private property
6) tons of trash left behind
7) children left unattended in a tent
people shot and killed
9) private business forced to close due to Tea Party people scaring customers away
10) the burning of the American flag
11) urninating in public


All of these, and much more, happened at the hippie camps, yet the liberal media ignored most of these stories and played up how these ifiots repersent the 99% of Americans

Does anyone support the above actions of the hippies? If so - why?

I'll have to check the OP's link to see it that is is constantly updated. I know there has been quite a bit more violence from the OWS crowd especially here in the Occupied SF Bay Area. This is an excellent thread and just look at the poll results! Nobody is fooled by the mainstream media on this issue. Can you imagine what a disaster this election is going to be for the democrats as these idiot protesters become more and more disfuntional and more violent? They like to claim the republicans are in disarray, but look at what is becoming of the leftist democrat and their minions. Are they going to continue to defend this anti-social behavior?
