Kelly: “We did not use specimens that had STDs [sexually transmitted diseases] or fetal abnormalities. We only wanted the most perfect specimens that we could give to the researchers.”

And the age of these babies?

Kelly: “The victims were up to and over 30-weeks gestation. We were looking for eyes, livers, brains, thymuses [lymphoid tissue], cardiac blood, cord blood, blood from the liver, even blood from the limbs.”

Only an estimated 2% of the late-term aborted babies had abnormalities.

Kelly: “The rest were very healthy. 95% of the time, she was just there to get rid of the baby.”

How many of the late-term – the ones around 30 weeks – would you see?

Kelly: “Probably 30 or 40 babies a week. ... We would sell the tissue to private contractors. They in turn would sell to other universities and researchers. There was a high demand every week to buy such fetal tissues. It was shipped by UPS, FedEx, Airborne and sometimes by special couriers. Sometimes we would take the specimen in a box to the airport and put it on as regular cargo, to be picked up at the destination.”

And did these shipping companies know they were transporting baby parts?

Kelly: “No. All they knew was that it was just human cells. But it could be a completely intact fetus. It might be a batch of eyes, or 30 or 40 livers going out that day, or thymuses...”

    And the leftover parts?

Kelly: “We would usually put this down the garbage disposal along with the placenta and the leftover blood material. If it was too large to go down the drain, they had a special freezer and when they accumulated 60 or 70 fetuses in one box, it would be picked up for incineration.”

And then the obvious question. Kelly is still working for this company, so why did she come and tell this story to a pro-life group? One day when she was working, “A set of twins at 24 weeks gestation was brought to us in a pan. They were both alive. The doctor came back and said, `Got you some good specimens, twins.' I looked at him and said, `There's something wrong here. They are moving. I don't do this. This is not in my contract.' I told him I would not be part of taking their lives. So he took a bottle of sterile water and poured it in the pan until the fluid came up over their mouths and noses, letting them drown. I left the room because I could not watch this.” But she did go back and dissect them after they were dead. “That's when I decided it was wrong. I did not want to be there when that happened.” And then it happened again and again. “At 16 weeks, all the way up to sometimes even 30 weeks, and we had live births come back to us.”

    And then?

Kelly: “Then the doctor would either break the neck or take a pair of tongs and beat the fetus until it was dead.”

Did the abortionist ever alter the procedures to get you the type of specimens you needed that day?

Kelly: “Yes, before the procedures they would want to see the list of what we wanted to procure. The doctor would get us the most complete, intact specimens that he could. They would be delivered to us completely intact. Sometimes the fetus appeared to be dead, but when we opened up the chest cavity, the heart was still beating.”

Kelly was asked if the type of abortion procedure was intentionally altered to deliver to you an intact specimen, even if that meant giving you a live baby? Her answer was, “Yes, that was so we could sell better tissue, so that our company would make more money. At the end of the year, they would give the clinic back more money because we got good specimens.”

Millions suffer from diseases and injuries that allegedly could be aided to various degrees by foetal tissue transplants. These maladies include Parkinson's Disease, Alzheimer's Disease, diabetes, and head injuries, stroke, and paralysis. These are the conditions upon which pro-harvesting researchers focus when they say that foetal transplants can provide aid. Therefore, some 'ethicists' and hospital researchers have become almost hysterically joyful over the prospect of having access to an abundant source of useful 'foetal material' produced by millions of abortions:

In 1988, researchers transferred brain cells from an aborted seven-week old fetus into an adult patient for the first time. The cells were implanted in an unnamed 55-year old male Parkinson's disease patient by a surgical team led by Dr. Curt Freed and Dr. Robert Breeze at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, USA

One study performed by eight Swedish researchers was rather revealing into the origins of their human tissue:
What is the significance of abortions being induced by prostaglandin? Dr. Kurt Hirschhorn of New York's Mt. Sinai Hospital explains: "With prostaglandins, you can arrange the whole abortion so the foetus comes out viable in the sense that it can survive hours, or a day."
    ( National Observer, April 21, 1973 )

One South Korean abortion doctor, Professor Lee Myung Bok of Seoul University's Medical Department, paid other doctors to cut the kidneys out of more than 12,000 fetuses immediately after they were killed, then pack them in ice and ship them to the USA. He grossed $180,000 for his efforts.

Now we know the real reason why there was so much resistance from the medical research community against banning late-term abortions. Many abortion clinics were making money too. These clinics want the baby to come out in one piece, so as not to damage those valuable organs, and often times this means the baby gets born alive.

I'm not surprised that any of your pro murder/abortion advocates haven't responded to this horrific slaughter of life. Hitler and Margaret Sanger didn't have anything over these monsters.

Well, first, there is no "horrific slaughter of life"

Second, anything posted by rabid Pro-Punish Women crowd is subject to a heap of skepticism.

Third, if it's true and legal....GOOD!.......research saves lives....aren't you PRO-LIFE????

Ugly. But then again it is another reason so many of us are against late term abortions, which from the statistics I have seen is rare.

The reason the statistics say that "late-term" abortions are rare is because they only count the abortions done after 24 weeks. A baby can be born alive well before 24 weeks, and can sometimes even survive into adulthood. It is important to note that being born alive and surviving for hours outside the womb does not necessarily mean that the fetus is viable. "Survival" means surviving for a year, not a day. The newborn baby may be alive but it also may not have any chance of survival. And remember, 24 weeks is just the cut off point when a fetus statistically has a 50% chance of survival.

23% of abortion providers in the USA offer abortion after 20 weeks. 11% offer abortions at 24 weeks.

Besides, I would hardly call it "rare". While late-term abortions are only a small percentage of overrall aborions, there are so many abortions every year that even a small percentage is still a large number. Every year in America, over 13,000 abortions are done on fetuses 21 weeks and older.

Thanks for the info. As I said most are against late term abortions unless there is some serious issue and I know that is very very rare. We have been around and around on this subject and I saw another pro-life poster state that you believe that early abortion choices should remain legal, is that correct?

At least your honest and show the heart of the pro-abort group. The position....cold, callous, grotesque, sick, inhumane....a worldview, a position that is so vile that words can not express the meaning that describes its adherents, the defenders.

I think this....all those who uphold the position be taken to clinics and euthanized for body parts. All except brains...who would want a brain that would condone such a practice.....except those that recognize the evil of the position and want to rid the world of this kind of sickness. Let the position holders be the sacrifices.

The information is eye opening. Even though late term abortions don't happen as much as early ones do....based on the pro-choice position, the fact that every woman should have the right to decide what happens to her body, late term abortion should be legal.
And she should have the right to sell her body parts...in this case her unborn baby....since the pro-aborts believe it is a part of her. (which it is not or she would die during the abortion as well)
So I am surprised the group is not in here defending this.

    - - - Updated - - -

But why do you want to deny a woman the right to her own body? ARe you anti-choice?

At a certain point in development, as I stated many times, I believe there is another person involved (a baby) that also has rights and at that point the woman should not simply be able to get an abortion without some real serious medical reasons. As usual I am stuck in the middle of an issue, some believe there should never be a reason a woman should be able to get an abortion, others believe it is alright all the way up to the time the baby is coming out, I do not support either of those two ideas and feel there is a rational answer that if people would sit down and think about the topic logically and without emotion could be implemented that would satisfy most people. Ones rights end when they interfer with the rights of another.

I suppose the one question that needs to be asked is, did the woman having the abortion give consent for the fetuses bodily parts to be used.

This is an another point I was going to bring up. In most cases, the fetal tissue and organs used for research were obtained with the "consent" of the mother, at least technically. In reality, these women, in most cases, merely signed the standard abortion clinic "consent" form that agrees that the abortuary can dispose of "any tissue removed".

In virtually all of these cases where the mother does specifically consent to her fetus being used for "medical research", the consent was likely buried in the stack of papers the woman had to sign to consent to the abortion procedure. The foetus is considered biomedical waste and the woman is not allowed to bring it home. I doubt any of these women knew where their fetus was going. Most women who get abortions are not too concerned about that...

I have heard instances of babies being born alive during induced labor abortions, and the mothers having a change of heart upon seeing their baby moving (even though the baby has virtually no chance of survival). They want to cradle their baby, but the clinic workers usually do not let her. The abortion clinic does not want the woman to become attached to the baby because the body is not allowed to leave the facility, and because most abortion doctors/nurses feel it is a waste of money and does not reflect good for their reputation for an ambulance to be called.

You want the people who hold these positions killed...how PRO-LIFE LOL!... ....

how about people like YOU who actually, according to YOU, MURDERED a BABY ???

MURDERERS shouldn't be punished???? Or they shouldn't be punished if they're YOU? Research be done on dead humans is a very old practice, I have donated my body for reseach, a very unselfish act that HELPS other people who have serious diseases.

The idea that NO research should ever be carried out on cadavers harks back 150-200 years and more to the IGNORANT SCARED BACKWARDS who had no idea of science and medicine...and to this day remain IGNORANT of science and research and believe fire is magic and the earth is flat, there will ALWAYS be these really, really stupid people who really don't serve any purpose on earth.

    WhatNow!? said,

"You want the people who hold these positions killed...how PRO-LIFE LOL!... ...."

Oh please I am a hard liner on life...I am pro-life. I was turning it around on you....that maybe people who hold the position that says...lets kill unborn babies....should be killed in a similar fashion.

The hatred with which you speak is incredible...shows just why your position condones killing unborns. I did something you think is good. LOL I set my child up for the abortionist to kill it. I certainly am an accessory. But you should be patting me on the back for doing something good. You think killing unborns is good.

If I went and turned myself in...they would turn me away. I did nothing against the law. And we are a nation of laws, right? If the law was different than certainly I should have been punished.
Unselfish act? Your dead? At least when they do research on you...you won't know it. LMAO You will be dead. Unlike the violence in the womb you think is acceptable on unborn LIVING HUMAN CHILDREN. Big deal....you don't your body. Wow. Does this make you feel better about yourself? LOL

You are ignorant about what science says about when life starts in the womb.

WhatNow!?, you should be careful to not let other users goad you into talking all about their unprovable anecdotal stories. These users do this on purpose to get you in trouble. Try to keep it as generalized as possible. This is coming from someone with personal experience in this matter.

The fetus isn't her body. Why should she have any say over what happens to it?

The uterus is hers though and she should be free to have the contents of it removed whenever she likes even if that results in the death of the fetus because it is not developed enough to sustain it's own life functions.

And once the fetus is removed, it is no longer in any way part of her body, so she should have absolutely no say over what happens to it at that point.

Fair enough, same goes for ovum and sperm removed and frozen for future use then, it isn't their body.

Sorry but that is pure unadulterated bull the youngest survivors are 22 weekers and then only 1 in a million survive

if 13,0000 abortions are done on fetuses over 21 weeks then that is only a fraction of the infants born incompatible with life and I would hazard that the vast majority of those abortions were done for exactly that reason

Like most I am uncomfortable with the thought of a viable foetus being aborted but realise that if a woman has carried for that long it is probable she wants the baby and the most common reason in our Western civilisation is that the parents have discovered the baby is grossly abnormal

In some other countries where abortion is rarer there is a higher level of abandoned babies
