I agree with the Palestinians. The whole history of the development of Israel has been either legalized theft (seizing of lands of refugees, forceable sales, etcetera) or purchases from individuals (Palestinian or otherwise). This trend has now reached the point where there is no viable Palestine left, but rather pockets of land and even neighborhoods surrounded by what is effectively (if not legally) Israel. A sale of land to Israelis is effectively a sale to your conquerors who are trying to eliminate you as a people and all too many of whom deny that the Palestinians ARE a nation.

The stakes are not whether Israel will survive: Israel is in a good position right now and even if things turn against them they have the ability to plunge the Middle East into a nuclear holocaust (Israel has at least 120 nuclear weapons: Iran has none). What is in question is when Israel will work up the nerve to expel the Palestinians over their borders or Gazaize them (to put Palestinians into another mega-refugee-camp-enclave) so that Israel/Palestine becomes solely Israel. Someone like our Palestinian property vendor, who hastens the destruction of his own people, even by a little, does not deserve to live.
