The title should read “Socialism The Approach Of A Lazy Man To Steal”.
No one does or invent anything in a vacuum. That person had teachers paid by the taxpayers, that person read books that others contributed to that person's understanding. The influence that thousands of people directly or indirectly had on the inventor had a great impact! In the U.S. the last man in a human chain who puts down the sandbag gets the reward. The other people who handed the sandbag down the human chain are ignored. Listen, Pause, and Reflect!!!
The part missing from this argument is the investment by the individual/group. This money and risk is not met by anyone but the inventors and if the invention fails the public/teachers/taxpayers do not share this cost.
I invented a new concept, it cost me about $250,000 to set up the first one. If others could see the idea proven and then just copy it I would never have re-mortgaged my home borrowed from friends and invested that huge amount of money.
