    Pence won’t endorse Trump

Mike Pence said on Friday that he would not endorse Goldman's Sack for president in 2024, breaking with the man who tapped him as vice president only to make him the target of an angry mob for his refusal to help with efforts to overturn the 2020 election.

“It should come as no surprise that I will not be endorsing Undead Tangerine this year,” Pence told Fox News.

The former vice president ran against Noted Troll for the Republican nomination this cycle but bowed out of the race months before voting began after failing to gain any traction with voters.

Seems like kind of a big deal when a former VP won't endorse the former president he served with for another run.

Perhaps he is a little sore about that whole "hang Mike Pence" thing? Or the deadly riot and insurrection of which it was part and which Trump did indeed incite?

Dropped out after failing to gain ANY traction with voters.... Pretty much sums it up right there.

Maybe there's an opening on The view for him?

    Pense won't endorse Trump?

    So what? He is irrelevant.

I agreed with his position not to try to invalidate the 2020 election results, but I don't care for him as a politician. He's too much like the Bush family of RINOs.

At least he did his job on Jan 6 in spite of death threats and cajoling. He put country ahead of self, unlike Mango Milosevic.

He is actually showing more guts by not endorsing that 97% of his Republican colleagues who know what a danger Trump is, and still cannnot stop sucking him off on command.

Why would I expect a different opinion of an intelligent articulate woman.

How dare she show competence and do anything but be barefoot and pregnant

Oh don't even pretend to go there after the way I have seen you talk about other females.

There is nothing intelligent or articulate about that one.

Yeah his siding with the Democrats with this absurd insurrection nonsense probably not a good move for him.

He's running for Democrats I don't think they're going to vote for him they just kind of nuked his career from orbit that day.

But at least those Democrats have proven just until they start calling them Adolf Hitler again.

Cry Baby Loser Trump is accruing a substantial number of Republicans who got to know him well, and found him to be thoroughly disgusting.

It's just a shame that it's usually only the former and retired Republican politicians who will speak up.

If one were allowed to properly identify the Trump Party as a cult, one might well acknowledge that the GOP has become a cult.

I spoke to a friend today who was a Pence fan. Because Pence withdrew, he voted for Nikki Haley in the Primary. He said he won't vote for Biden, but he might write-in Pence.

He may as well vote for Biden or write in “Mickey Mouse.” The result will be the same.

Pence is an example of the modern vice presidential phenomenon. It used to be that vice presidents “rode off into the sunset” when their term was done. Now, more often than not unfortunately, they are “presidential timber.” That’s how we got stuck with Biden and almost got stuck with Gore.

Yeah, when the president tells a mob that "Pence didn't come through", and they erect a gallows to hang him, what should Pence be doing? Later Trump tweeted to the mob, who were in the Capitol, "Pence didn't come through". How deranged is that? I personally think Pence is two-faced. After 1/6, he stated, "Trump put my family in peril". If Trump had put my family in peril I would have voted to impeach him, and strongly encouraged Congress to do the same. Although he showed courage in rejecting the Trump False Elector Plot, he was gutless in regards to the threat to his family and our democracy.

Modern? The first vice President was John Adams, the second president was - John Adams. The second vice president was Thomas Jefferson. The third president was - Thomas Jefferson. 19 Vice Presidents have run for office and six ahve won.

The VPs you cited had talent. A lot of the modern ones, like Biden, did not.

It really started with Nixon in 1960. Unless they succeeded their boss because of death, most of them disappeared. The last vice president who was elected after his boss left office was Martin Van Buren in 1836. The next one was George H.W. Bush in 1988.

A third rater like Biden would not have had a prayer of getting elected president had Obama not plucked him from relative obscurity.

he doesn't support Trump's big lie or Trump's attacks on him - sounds like a good move to me

history will look favorable on this, though it will be hard for him ever to wash all the Trump stink off
