Not only did you peddle their propaganda, it appears you swallowed it hook, line and sinker:

Obama won't be leading us into a war with Iran. In fact, I don't see him formulating any sort of effective response to the Iranian regime's latest antics.

If there's a silver lining to this, it will register as a signal failure of Obama's foreign policy:

This could wind up being the last nail driven into Obama's political coffin lid...

I would expect to see the US to try and leverage nations like Saudi Arabia, Iraq and others to go to war with Iran themselves, in order to have one of them annex the country and supply us with their oil. Its a better strategy than direct conflict, and all we'd have to do is divert US military supplies (in trade for oil) to those countries (we just take our troops home and leave our equipment) to fight against Iran. It almost seems too good to be true that Iran sent someone to the US to attack a Saudi diplomat. Hmm...(and no, I'm not a conspiracy theorist, its just quite the opportunity politically).

You're right its certain the US won't go it alone.

Saudi Arabia wouldn't take Iran's oil.

Iran has ambitions on the Arabian peninsula, not vice versa.

I wouldn't be surprised by anything. The question is, why wouldn't a nation like Saudi Arabia want Iran's land and resources? I don't think that any nation there has enough to spread around, and Iran is a pretty prosperous environment compared to other countries. At least, it has the potential to be.

My guess is that this will end up being another Libyan-like event. The west, along with some more moderate middle eastern nations will work internally to inspire a revolution. After the last election of Machmoud, its clear there is dissention amongst Iranians seeking freedom. If they can get organized, and get full support of NATO like the Libyan uprising, we might see the Ayotolla hiding out in the same cave as Gadhafi by the middle of next summer.

Saudi Arabia doesn't want Iranian land and resources... further they don't want to control the Shia population. Why would they?

The Saudis know the oil business hates a war zone and the Persians don't like Arabs to begin with.

Iran is in poor financial circumstances and that will soon get worse. There oil production is declining and the ppb is going down to $86 a barrel.

Saudi Arabia is currently building a 2,400 mile railroad to haul bauxite ore and phosphate.. cross country.

When a govt. is overwhelmed with intractable domestic problems it sometimes will be tempted to create a foreign policy crisis in order to distract its domestic opponents.

Who has more credibility, Obama or Iran?

It isn't Obama. This smells like a false flag operation by an embattled leftist president.

Yup, the plot doesn't make sense other than an attempt to divert attention from the catastrophe Obama has worsened.

So Albert, are you saying that this was a "manufactured" attempted assassination? That it's not real?

I certainly would like to see other countries get involved. It should be a mutual concern for all.

as much as i would love to see Iran and Amanijehufhskfks???? get their asses handed to them now is not the right time at all. our troops are too thinned out,and we have no money to support another war at this time.

put this on Irans tab of reasons to rip them a new (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*), hurry up and finish the job we already got going. bring our troops home and give them a break, get our money somewhat back in order so our troops wont be in any way short changed........then unleash a swift and totally hardcore thrashing of Iran and make a you tube video of Amanijidickhead getting peed on by our troops while he cries like the true lil (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) he is.

Cables have gone out to every US Embassy with the request to lay the case before their host countries.

I'm saying that I won't give the Bamster the benefit of the doubt. He has to actually prove his allegations in a court of law. Unsubstantiated allegations don't mean anything.

Who is going to believe this without conclusive evidence? I think this thing smells like rotten fish.
