That doesn't prove that the Iranian Govt. authorized this alleged plot.

I admit that I've been very suspect of the timing of this, to be sure.

Solyndra, Fast & Furious... the heat is on Obama.

The last thing Obama would do it cook up a mess like this.. His policy to date has been to stay calm, contain Iran and deal with the two miserable messes in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Besides.. Holder didn't know about Fast and Furious.. He wouldn't repeat Bush's fiasco called Operation Wide Receiver.. where guns also walked.

The memos show Holder did know about Fast and Furious, and then lied to Congress when he was under oath. Appoint a Special Counsel to investigate.

Were not going to war. Saudi Arabia might respond though.

Iran can`t wage a ground war right now against an enemy as far away as Saudi Arabia because right now a large percentage of the population is itching to revolt and as soon as the army is gone they are going to jump.
Even if they did, Saudi Arabia is plenty fine by itself (not that we wouldn`t help), they have a decent army, arms bought from us, and enough money to by a massive mercenary force if need be.

    I thought so too ..
US needs a new war to distract it's 99% off their demands of social and financial equality ..
any one reads the history will find that all the tyrant regimes had one way to get out off their financial and social failure : ignite a new war

America doesn't need a new war, but Obama does.

Let a court of law decide whether Obama is lying or telling the truth.

Pick a different group of sons to die in this round of "global policing" and "subordinate nation building". Americans have done enough for the "global community". I say the "global community" makes China hit Iran in return for their build up that the "global community" sponsored at the expense of their own nation's success. It is time for China to prove whether they are on the "global team" or are just using their position as an underdeveloped nation to take all the gains from one world and cut and run when things equal out. As of yet they have proved nothing. MAKE CHINA FIGHT IRAN.

b.o. has long ago proved his total and complete incompetence. If you wish to gloat, look in a mirror. Whatever happens with the Iran thing, b.o. was and is an incompetent idiot.

Another one displaying their envy by blaming the capable and productive for imagined problems.

True, but this affair doesn't reflect well on Obama and his failed policy of appeasement towards the regime in Tehran. I don't think Obama would gratuitously pile this embarrassment on top of his existing mountain of problems...

they won't attack the people, they will target the nuclear facilities hopefully

if under the bush administration then we'd expect an unneccessary ground war similar to iraq

You mean you (not we) would expect "an unneccessary ground war similar to iraq".

If you think bombing Iran's nuclear facilities wouldn't precipitate a full-scale war, guess again. I don't think Obama is even considering a military operation of that magnitude...

Why do we have OCCUPY everyone? We have PLANES with BOMBS and DRONES. We just bomb the (*)(*)(*)(*) out of every Government building and IRGC barracks and broadcast over the airwaves that any resistance movement against the Mullahs will be backed by US airpower.. just like Libya.

Hell we have more justification for doing it to Iran than we did Libya!

A wise politician would not. A desperate one is capable of many stupid moves.
b.o. has proven that he is not wise and its obvious to all but the obamalamaloopas that he is beyond desperate.

On that I agree 100%, BT Bomber had a great post on the subject that is pretty much in-line with our dispostion on the issue too.

Pres Obama hasn't done well domestically but I have liked his foreign policy, and here is a golden opportunity to reharness the world body to ante up against terrorism and certainly state sponsored terrorism.

That's true. Perhaps, Obama thought people would concentrate on the disruption of the plot instead of the policy failure that has emboldened the Iranian regime to the point where they think they can get away with blowing up a Saudi diplomat on American soil.

Obama is a failure on Iran.

We tried to hold hands and get lovely dovey with a crazy man, now that crazy man is months away from nukes.

We should have uncuffed Israel and let them bomb the (*)(*)(*)(*) out of nuke factories again.

Its too late now, nothing short of all out war on Iran can stop their nuke factories, they are deep underground and hidden at this point.

Obama destroyed the world in so many ways, idiot.

I have trouble accepting the premise that b.o. actually "thinks." I believe he is an ideological automaton.

The nuke aspect is certainly worrisome, but one of the worst aspects of Obama's failed policy of appeasement was his unwillingness to stand behind the Iranian protesters in 2009. Disappointing in the extreme....
