Pres. Trump Wants Rep. Adam Schiff Arrested For Treason

The discussion was begun around a "Sputnik" article critical of Schiff and calling for his resignation, by a forum member, who calls herself Jeanette. Sputnik is a Russian media organization.

Reasonable to argue that neither Schiff or Trump are guilty of "Treason." A related question might be: If the Mueller Report "exonerated" Trump of "collusion," why is he reopening the investigation?

 

i didn't read the article, i saw schiff lie with my own eyes on TV.

The report did exonerate Trump of collusion, it did not exonerate him of obstruction, congresses failure to impeach him of obstruction did that.

 

There are many calling for Schiff's resignation for his lying to Congress, not just "Sputnik".

The Mueller Investigation is not being reopened, but questions must be answered on how it begun.

 

My remarks were directed to Dobbs. Trump claimed the Mueller Report exonerated him from "collusion." I agree with you that it did not, as was explained in the Report itself. That would mean that the President either misread the report, or lied about it. As to action by Congress, the impeachment inquiry has just begun. Once the "inquiry" is finished, its report will go to the House Judiciary Committee for the preparation of a bill of impeachment (if the report of the Intelligence Committee recommends such). That bill will then be voted "out of the committee," and if such passes, the bill will go to the floor for debate and vote. A simple majority would send it to the Senate, wherein the trial will be held, with Chief Justice John Roberts presiding. The Senate will then vote to either approve or dismiss the bill of impeachment. A two-thirds majority is required for approval. If the vote carries the bill, the President will be dismissed from office, after which he may be prosecuted for any possible crimes.

 

The latest laughable by the New York Times, is that Trump exerted pressure on the Australian PM. Of course it was denied by the PM.

Don't think though that the liberals care whether they are caught lying. Their hubris rises them above such plebian concerns. They assume that anyone who doesn't think like they do has to be dumb and of no consequence - so why should they care?

Since they lack any moral and ethical boundaries and paganism reigns once again (Nazi Germany was the last time), using deception for gain is part and parcel of one's own superior mind and not criminality. Therefore they have no qualms in using the MSM, (which they own thanks to Bill Clinton), to deceive, manipulate and brainwash the American people.

So what we have now is the insane (or rather possessed) such as Schiff, repeating his lies ad nauseum - knowing the MSM will assure him of a large audience.

Here is an interesting video by Trump saying that people for over a year have asked him to declassify, so that's what he did. He declassified everything. He said a great hoax was perpetrated on our country, possibly the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on us, and he hopes that Attorney General Barr will look at the UK, Ukraine and Australia.

Technically, that's true. The Mueller investigation is officially closed. But, politically, I would expect the electorate to demand the results of the "counter-investigation" to the Mueller report, no matter how that investigation turns out. And, the results of that counter investigation will be under as much scrutiny as the Mueller Report itself and those results will determine the Republican candidate for the Presidency in 2020, notwithstanding the discovery of a "smoking gun" in the impeachment inquiry.

Why should he? If you had a republican supposedly reading from a democrat president's phone transcript and instead substituted lies for the transcript, would you not feel like that was treason? You know you would, and guess what? President Trump is still president and will be after next November. Then what lies are you going to buy and spew out. You are not tired of it yet? Seriously?

 

Oh my...I read the Mueller Report. It's sitting on my desk, as I write. Mueller said they never looked for "collusion." There was no federal statue relative to collusion. What they looked for was "conspiracy" between the Russians and the Trump CAMPAIGN. The second part was to consider the President's efforts, which MAY HAVE been related to obstruction of justice. A conclusion on those charges was not reached, for reasons explained in the Report, and forwarded to either the AG or Congress to pursue. You may be sure, the obstruction charges will be looked at again by the House impeachment inquiry.

Schiff may turn my stomach for his hyper partisanship but his right to freedom of speech under the bill of rights is exactly the same one enjoyed by Trump.

Yes. Those of us not in public life could sue for libel but that doesn't seem to apply to the famous. The important thing to remember is that the purpose of the first amendment is to protect unpleasant speech. Pleasant speech doesn't need protection. Schiff's analysis of the transcript was mean spirited and wholly inappropriate but definitely legal.

 

But clearly stated... no vindication for trump.

Mueller didn't come up with anything on Trump and so not to displease his Dem. handlers who are shaking in their boots with Barrs investigation, he gave them a stupid comment so they can continue their obstruction of Pres. Trump's presidency before they end up in jail.
