    As if I could do something about it. It is good that evangelical churches are finally beginning to confront the appropriation and begin an effort to reclaim the symbol as to what it’s original intent is.

    In the sky, a rainbow is beautiful, signifying virtue after a washing. As an appropriate adornment for little children, it is dear. But as a cover for sexually deviant adult behavior, it is an absurdity.

    He is the God of all. Not the qualifier of all evil. Otherwise you are saying God is evil, with no good to him. His Gospel is repentance and rebirth. He did not come to save us in our sins, but from our sins, whatever they may be.

    I definitely recall from reading the bible long ago that it was Paul's fault, not Jesus's fault, that Christians are mean to gays. It's unfortunate that his very first followers perverted his message of love.

    But as far as morality, it is patently absurd to call homosexuality wrong. It harms nobody.

    There was no real objection to Rev. Jackson's Rainbow Co. as his group was Christian oriented. This is different as “pride” itself is an affront to genuine Christian belief.

    All who died in the flood had 120 years to repent and change their ways. They chose not to. A similar event will happen in the not too distant future but will ultimately end with fire rather than another flood.
