You Robert, more than anyone on this board knows I don't lie and I usually always am able to back up what I say, unless of course it's an opinion and I am not stating facts.

I want to be clear here, this in very specific language that explains how both Democrats and Republicans have been the tools of SOME of the rich.

Its better if you send the min payment and then a week or so later send them the extra and label the check "towards principal only".

I see a real issue looming in the near future. We have a want to problem in the US! The left don't want to step up.

Your right again. I started this thread mainly to only try and help all those people who constantly complain how little they have and how much the rich have. I wanted to show you don't need to have a lot of money to have a half way decent life. Trying to show how little I made over the years and how you can make that money streach. We can't do anything about the rich so it's crazy to keep complaining about them. Taxing them more isn't going to help the average American. The government isn't going to give it to us.

It switched when one poster tried to put all blame Republicans for this economy crashing. I have constantly blamed both sides for it. I was challenged by another Democrat as to how Democrats had anything to do with it. I tried to point out how they were also responsible. I think Robert didn't read all the posts and thought I was just taking shots at Democrats. That was never my intent. I was only showing what I was challenged to do. I like Robert, we don't agree on some things as we are in different Parties. But I can understand how he misunderstood my intentions and just thought I was trying to bad mouth Democrats.

 

Marine it is one thing to speak for a group of people, it is another to speak for me. I put this to bed last night, as a friend. But if you continue I will repsond with less diplomacy.

I would like to, but the wealthiest can simply afford to "purchase" better privileges and immunities under our form of capitalism; that I believe I should have recourse to under our republican form of Government with its emphasis on equality.

 

The issue wouldnt have happened if you had read the thread... You mistakenly attacked him for being partisan when he wasnt meanwhile Craftsman does nothing but blame Republicans and you didnt call him out showing how partisan you can be..

That isn't ever going to change. We can tax them more as we just did, but that does little to help us. The government isn't going to lower our taxes, or give us more of what they collect off of them. So it's up to us to ride out this sick economy till things pick up and do the best we can with what we make.
