Lol, which will solve absolutely nothing. This is why America is so divided right now. Both sides screaming at each other, neither one screaming anything factual, and nobody having any real solutions. Just louder and louder screaming, which allows the politicians to get away with EVERYTHING. They want us “way way passed passed off”. That is when we are most easily manipulated, and it is working like a charm.

 

Of course they are. They’ve spent years telling the minority communities that the white man is out to get them. That police officers are targeting them everywhere, that they can’t get ahead and the game is rigged against them. It might be a different kind of racism, but it is just as devastating. It is still creating that divide, even if it seems like caring. It is still creating the “us against them” mentality.

 

Sorry, but having minorities in the party and electing Obama twice says nope.

Those minorities in the party are just as guilty as any other politician at being racist, convincing other blacks that whites control the system and that they are out to get them. That is just as racist as not electing any black people. It may feel different, but the end result of divisions along racial lines are the same, and works to keep corrupt politicians that benefit from racial division in power.

Whether it is overt or covert, racism is destructive and divisive.

 

You might want to consider the possibility that many Black America have actually had personal experiences with the police and the court system here in America and found them to be unfair with them. Maybe they did not need the evil Democrats or anyone else telling them about it.....Just sayin’....

 

I get the feeling most of these liberals pretending to be white saviors of the helpless blacks. A typical white Democrat view, but they should probably get out a little more and get to actually know some black men and women. The news flash here is, they don’t really need you, Dems!

 

Oh, I absolutely agree that there HAS been injustice. And that makes the message of those who benefit from racial divides all the more seductive and powerful. They have cases they can point to, and say “SEE!!!”. But doing that will still deepen the divide... which is exactly what the politicians want.

 

Whites invented the system. And do still control a large part of it.

So, almost all of this takes place in Democrat controlled urban areas. So, tell me how Democrats are the better choice for blacks. Hundreds of blacks killed every year in Baltimore, Detroit, Philadelphia, Chicago, and dozens of other big cities most of which haven’t seen Republicans in control for decades. Yeah, Democrats are going to help blacks!

 

Politicians will certainly use any ammunition they can find to get votes. And that’s both sides.

 

Absolutely. They profit from a divided nation.

 

Those being killed are not killed by Democrat politicians. Perhaps if the Republicans want to get more support in these areas, they should run stronger candidates who will propose ideas to stop the violence instead of running losers who do nothing but point fingers at their political opponents.

 

So what could a political party do to convince you that they are not racist?

 

So, tell me why blacks should continue voting for Democrats? Seems like you don’t really care about them other than their votes. I find that’s pretty typical of Democrats.

 

Neither choice is better for blacks. Or for America. The best thing we could do is refuse to vote for anyone that has an R or a D attached to their title. Of course, in our system, that is unrealistic and extremely unlikely to ever happen. But it is what needs to happen if we are going to get real meaningful change.

I haven't said you are wrong, yet. But if you believe other than whites created most of our systems in the USA, then I will say you are wrong.

 

I haven’t voted for Republican or Democrat in 20 years.

 

They couldn’t. I will never vote along party lines again, and will vote independent when at all possible, depending on their outlooks. I don’t believe that republicans or democrats will ever be capable of not being racist.

 

I think Black people should vote for whoever they want. I would welcome candidates from either party who are honest problem solvers in any Mayoral race in the country. Bring them on.

 

Then you will of investigate any independent to see if he was a member of either party, right?

 

I could vote for the GOP again, if they ever decide to be the actual legitimate Conservative party they pretend to be right before every election. As it is, we have two socialist parties and I refuse to vote for either.

Neither have I except to vote against Trump in 2020. In 2016 early in the primaries, I sent Trump $500 after the first debate when he called bullshit on Jeb Bush for saying “my brother kept us safe”. Trump said something like “he was in office for 6 months and there was blood all over the streets of NYC”.... However after watching and listening to his big mouth for a few years I became aware that he was a lying sociopath.
