Kind of. I couldn't stand some of BO's rhetoric that could be construed as anti-American. But as bad as he was he never did anything approaching the trump debacle. It was a pathetic display of a beta playing his part to a T.
Ya that's how I makes friends, I meet them for lunch accuse them of a bunch of crap that I have aired on TV and social media a for a couple years and get all up in the persons face once we meet.. The leftist are confusing this with a prize fight not a meeting of two Presidents
I could if this site allowed me to do as such but alas, we have a collar on our necks at Political Forum.
It's Trump's own damn fault, he started off his presidency by pushing other leaders out of the way and being the big man, yet we saw him as a dejected monkey in Finland...
Looks like some others are coming out to put reality back into play. While highlighting more of the Leftness and their TDS. Despite Botched Summit with Putin, Trump’s Policies Are Still Pressuring Russia On Monday, President Donald Trump managed to make a bad situation much, much worse. In a press conference held after his summit meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Trump strongly implied he agreed with Putin’s assessment that the Russians did not meddle in the 2016 U.S. elections, even though U.S. intelligence has concluded that they did. Despite Trump’s spectacular bungling of this diplomatic moment with Putin, the Trump administration is still pushing back hard against Moscow. The optics going into the summit were already terrible. The U.S. foreign policy establishment, along with national security junkies and armchair quarterbacks, had been waiting with bated breath to see what would happen today when the two men met behind closed doors. The meeting was announced a couple of weeks ago to the surprise and feigned horror of many. For some, Trump’s decision to meet with Putin was further evidence of collusion between the two countries. The response to Trump’s comments has bordered on hysterical, and for good reason. Trump made both himself and the United States look utterly foolish in front of the steely eyed Putin, who no doubt is reveling in his ability to play both the president and the U.S. media. The ensuing chaos is music to his ears. But is this proof that Trump is in Putin’s pocket? That he’s beholden to Russia? That the United States has been utterly infiltrated by a foreign country? No, although that’s what the hysterical say. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi tweeted Monday that she continually wonders what the Russians have on Trump, writing that it’s the “only thing that explains [Trump’s] behavior & his refusal to stand up to Putin.” But there’s a far simpler explanation: Trump was more concerned with sticking it to his domestic opponents than being tough with Putin. He’s trolling the Left in America — but he’s recklessly doing it on the international stage. He has allowed his own ego and his fight with the mainstream media and the Left over the Russia collusion narrative to dictate how he engages the leader of an adversarial foreign country.....snip~ http://thefederalist.com/2018/07/17...trump-administration-still-pressuring-russia/
Yeah well that is where Trump was standing when the Lame Stream media leftist, tried to get Trump to call Puti Poot a Liar.
Yep, I remember Hannity saying that. I also remember the leftness saying that is what the Peep should do and then criticizing Trump for it. Do you remember that?
Maybe Paul understands who our greatest adversary actually is, and that it's not any one foreign power or one foreign leader. Like most things in life, our greatest adversary lies within. It isn't Putin that's trying to subvert and undermine our highest federal office. It isn't Putin letting millions of foreigners invade our southern border at our expense. It isn't Putin that made us enter a war based upon WMD that either never existed, or was never found. It isn't Putin that gave us a $20 trillion dollar debt. In America, we are our own worst enemy; and it is epitomized most by the liberal left, it's deep state surrogates, and all the feckless elected officials that put their own petty interests ahead of the greater interest of the country.
I have old friends and school chums, and I will admit relatives that are college perfessers, egg heads, long hairs and perfect pronoun pronouncers, yet not a damn one teaches any political theories unless it's for an assigned class.. I could have been a college perfesser but I hate teaching stupid kids...
There is some truth to this - on both sides. That doesn't excuse trump nor does it answer the question as to why Paul (a guy I respect BTW) would stand up for him.
Because the Demos want to blame the Russians for Losing an Election, due to a bad and Lazy candidate that they tried to cheat with and still couldn't win.
How in the hell does the meeting in Helsinki going to change what Trump and Putin have already done, assign sides in the war in Syria?
