Seniors are being replaced but with foreign immigrants that move here. Immigration should have only allowed half million foreigners to move here to maintain population growth. They allowed 1 million to move here each year and that is what is creating the declining participation rate.

I will wait until the IRS has published their report of all those that filed taxes with the number they publish for wage and salary workers for 2015. Previous research of their data always is short of the numbers claimed by the labor stats.

You also have to keep in mind how the labor statistics are compiled. They survey a handful of people to get their numbers.

Right-wing socialists oppose higher wages. In fact, Crooked Donnie whose business model involved receiving hundred of millions of dollars
of governmental assistance, states wages are too high. The nerve of this plutocratic socialist, who claims to be worth $10 billion, complaining

Yes, he presided over an economy devastated by increasing robotics and automation, open borders for illegal cheap labor and offshoring to slave labor to increase the income and wealth of the new robber barons. Work has been devalued, unless it is highly skilled work, to where the local clothing store that used to pay its employees living wages has been put out of business by corporations like walmart where they depend upon welfare to staff their stores, taxpayers subsidizing their billionaire owners. We call this economic philosophy neoliberalism.

Of course Obama is to blame, but he inherited this economic model, that was brought to us in large part when the GOP returned to power in 1981, and began dismantling the FDR reasonable profit model which helped to create the largest middle class in world history. The dems under Clinton joined the GOP and what you see today is the result of this change. This change caused so much suffering for working people that they elected trump for he promised to change some of what created this economic suffering. They probably got a confidence game run on them, but we shall see.

It isn't Obama but the economic model, which of course he agrees with, so it is him in that respect. He like the GOP and DP, are open borders free trade economic globalists on behalf of the new robber barons, who finance their campaigns and enrich them after political office. Perfect set up.
