That's because the term "teenager" has a scientific element to it, that being AGE! Plus, they have moved WELL BEYOND being babies. Unborn babies however, will VERY SOON be BORN babies! You ask any mother and they will tell you that they didn't think of their unborn baby ANY LESS than than when it was born! Why do you think that is? Why do you think that miscarriages are so traumatic? It's very telling that the left gets so triggered by pro-lifers talking about babies! It obviously makes them VERY uncomfortable! They know PERFECTLY WELL that there is ZERO distinction in value between at least the fetal unborn and the born. It's just that for them, so called 'women's right to their bodies' takes priority.
So if it was the law that abortion was illegal, then you would simply saw that "law is FACT?" Or would you make a MORAL argument against the law?
FoxHastings said: ↑ LOLOL!!!! Law is FACT, opinion isn't.....too bad you can't tell the difference.....LOLOLOLOL That has nothing to do with my statement of fact above...
I said a law is a FACT....whether I like it or not (or whether you like it or not) it's still a fact. "Fact" might be another word to look up... I would never say that a law I didn't like didn't exist.
FoxHastings said: ↑ Another meaningless, nitpicky and, worse, boring , comment. Only in your mind.... In reality I did no such thing as my post you quoted proves.
If one can exchange one stage of life for another as Anti-Choicers do by insisting a "fetus" is a "baby" then they should have no problem calling a baby a teenager or a fetus an adult. BTW, it isn't Pro-Choicers who keep bringing this up , it's Anti-Choicers. They do so to play on emotions (calling a fetus a "baby" as if it looks just like the Gerber baby) because they have no facts to use in their agenda to take away women's right to their own bodies. And, YES, EVERYONE having the right to their own body IS a priority....not something to be swept aside because you don't like what they're doing.. Why do Anti-Choicers get so upset when a fetus is referred to as a fetus???
Of course. And if you didn't like a law, you would be making arguments against it like I'm doing with abortion. Remember, I've never said that law is NOT fact! Did I say that a law doesn't exist? Which law exactly?
Again my analogy..a ZEF is to a person as an acorn is to an oak tree . If either is removed it does not become a person or a tree
FoxHastings said: ↑ I said a law is a FACT....whether I like it or not (or whether you like it or not) it's still a fact. Which has nothing to do with the fact that a law is a fact. You seemed to think that if someone didn't like a law then the law wasn't a fact. BTW, check post 508 for you saying you didn't say things FoxHastings:""I would never say that a law I didn't like didn't exist."" WHO said you said that? Not me. I said: ""I would never say that a law I didn't like didn't exist.""
'Baby' is not a stage of life! It's actually a subjective term. And how could a baby be considered a teenager if they aren't between the ages of 13 and 19? And how could a fetus be considered a completely different stage of life such as an adult? What is the significance of the Gerber baby? I agree. We don't. It IS a fetus! (Scientifically) It is also a baby!
Oh? What do you call ,say, a month old person? How could a fetus be considered a baby if it hasn't been born? No, it is no more a "baby" than a teenager is a "baby" There are stages in the life of humans......and they have different names.....as you've been told a hundred times or more.. And some Anti-Choicers insist that a fetus IS a baby....which is wrong.
A neonate or infant. Technically it is a neonate up to 28 days after birth Why can't it? After all, the definition of 'baby' is not BORN. Please cite a source which supports that 'baby' means born. Then support that with a biological source.
No, no mother calls her baby a neonate...… see how that works ?? No, you provide proof that a fetus is a baby....a person with rights....you can't. Call it anything you want..... it is still legal to kill it....
Of course not, because that it scientific language! People generally use colloquial language. I don't have to PROVE that, because it is SUBJECTIVE! I say that if you don't think it's a baby, then it's not a baby! However, you don't say that if I think that it IS a baby, then it is a baby! It's a baby if I want it to be isn't it? If not, then as I said before, the definition of 'baby' is not BORN. Please cite a source which supports that 'baby' means born. And if you want to continue to say that it is "wrong" to call a fetus a baby, then you should be capable of supporting that with a biological source! However, I certainly won't be holding my breath!
Of course. My point is that both you and I disagree with certain laws. Not sure how you got that from anything that I've said. And neither would I!
