There was a Republican Governor in Florida in 1989. Additionally, if that's your standard for political control then I can just list the LA Riots of 1992. The Governor of California in 1992 was Pete Wilson - a Republican.

Until they break out of that list, I'm not going to take the word of a blog poster who includes material from a conservative think-tank. Because frankly, the numbers in that map are from 2000-2010 and yet states with growth are still in the top 10. And show me the data that says that those states were just as poor when the Democrats left office. I'd like to see it for myself.

What discriminatory loan policies are those?

If you define discrimination as simply making a distinction, it can certainly be positive. Helping out underprivileged or underrepresented minorities after years of negative discrimination. It's one way to combat the problems that racist white majorities have created.

Uh huh. And where are your sources? I can make a nice chart saying whatever I want - doesn't make it true.

Correlation doesn't equal causation. Just because a Democrat may "run" one of the slowest growing states, does mean it's a direct result of that. For example, North Dakota would have a high percentage of growth no matter who was in office. Why? Because the oil industry is booming there. Also, at least half of the years that Tim Pawlenty was Governor of Minnesota, the Minnesota Legislature was controlled by the Democrats. There are plenty of other variables that take a role in economic growth.

And you need to provide a source for this.

Not one of the slowest states, 13 out of 20.
Not most of the fastest states, just 6 out of 20.

    Nearly flipped stats.

NY has a ton of natural gas, but their government blocks people from going after it. ND does not block energy expansion in their state. Their respective governments have a lot to do with it.

Racism was and is the basis and foundation of the Democratic Party just as it was then and is now. Because they have taken on the mantle of benevolent equality. What has really happened to racism in America. Didn't America just re-elect an Afro-American while in the midst of a manufactured race baited Zimmerman trial? Whatever happened to the MLK ideal of judging a man by the content of his character and not of his skin? Is that what Obama. Holder, Sharpton and Jackson stress when there are Black on White crimes?

Bush was re-elected, proving Republicans love liars.

The lie is that the GOP of today are anything like the Goldwater Conservatives of 1965.

    Fiscal conservative? Not
    Respect the Constitution? Not
    Against big Government ? Not

Goldwater hit the nail on the head when he claimed that the religious right would be the death of the Conservative party. That party does not exist anymore.

The black guy was indeed the best candidate. But it wasn't the black guy that won. It was Herman Cain; the black Republican that the Democrat Media Complex went out of its way to destroy in order to prevent him from ruining the narrative that you're trying to promote here. The narrative that Republicans are supposedly racist.

Besides, according to the Zimmerman Rule, President Obama is just another white president anyway. He doesn't count as a minority because he's half white. Just like George Zimmerman.
