Ron DeSantis jumps into the 2024 presidential race

Some polls yes, and some polls no. But this is 2023. In 1991, GHWB had a commanding lead among any Republican and Democrat, and yet, he still lost the general election in 1992. Hillary also had a commanding lead among any potential GOP candidate in 2015, and yet, still lost the general election in 2016.

DeSantis supporters are more moderate than MAGA.

For the simple reason that they know he has a much better chance of beating Biden in 2024.

So they're willing to set aside part of their political agenda to support a candidate who can win.

Something the MAGAs are incapable of doing.

What Ramaswamy is proposing is pure ignorance and typical fear. He has no plan with any of the complex issues. And he is running as a GOP candidate, not a Democrat.

that being said, you have currently three candidates running for DNC: Biden, Kennedy Jr, and Williamson. Of the three, Biden has the commanding lead followed by Kennedy Jr, mostly because of his progressive policies on the environment. There is a possibility that joe Manchin may run, but I don't think so.

Not even AOC has made that type of statement And if you try to use socialism, that too is a very broad topic in which most conservatives have no idea what political socialism is or can differentiate between socialism, social democracy, and corporate capitalism to say the least.

I guess you don't see how Biden's "dismal" poll numbers and Trump's poll numbers actually reinforces the "sucker" reference.

People are not happy with Biden, that doesn't mean they won't vote for him if he runs against Trump. It just means that we are realistic about the job he is doing.

Trump supporters, however, still gleefully support the sentient orange septic tank despite the fact that by every objective standard, he is a horrible human being and was an even worse President.

You aren't a sucker when you spend 100,000 on a Picasso painting even if you don't like it. You ARE a sucker when you spend 100,000 on a Picasso forgery even if you love it.

That is the very definition of sucker, supporting that which does not deserve support.
