Trump didn't claim he wanted to fabricate votes he claimed that there were 400,000 or so illegitimate Biden votes and they should subtract ("find") at least 11,780, which exceeded the number he lost by one vote, from Biden's side which would give Trump the majority ("One more than I have") which basically achieves the same thing that fabricating votes would have achieved given that Raffensperger told him that there were no such illegitimate votes. Whether that request was illegal I do not know that will have to be decided by Garland or the Georgia Prosecutor. It will depend on how they interpret trump's phone call that's how I interpret it but it could be interpreted a number of different ways , I'm here I'm giving trump the benefit of The doubt.

Auntie Lindsey is clutching those pearls tonight.

Judge sets expedited schedule for Lindsey Graham testimony to ensure he can't stall for months
    Source: Raw Story

"A federal appeals court temporarily blocked a lower court's ruling that mandated Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) testify before a Georgia grand jury in its investigation into Donald Trump and his allies' attempts to sway the state's 2020 election results in his favor.

"In a brief order, the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals sent the ruling back down to the district court, instructing the judge there to weigh any potential changes to Fulton County's grand jury subpoena to Graham in alignment with the Constitution's speech and debate clause," ABC News reports. "The clause, which offers lawmakers certain legal protections when they are acting in their official capacities, is at the heart of Graham's challenge to the subpoena for his testimony."

Eastman actually showed today and did what was expected of a mob lawyer...

Former Trump lawyer John Eastman invoked the Fifth Amendment “where appropriate” when he sat for a deposition on Wednesday before a Fulton County, Ga., grand jury investigating former President Trump’s efforts to reverse the results of the 2020 election in the state.

Eastman’s firm Burnham & Gorokhov said in a statement they advised their client to remain silent and to invoke his constitutional right against self-incrimination when needed.

That's how it works, it's our strongest legal defense against incarceration(I think people forget and underestimate just how inhumane incarceration actually is. It's basically a concentration camp, but you're kept alive in the camp. You would honestly be better off dead.) As such, it should not be up to the defendant to help the prosecution prove its case against it. Note: 'you' as in a theoretical person, not you personally.

That's how it works for people who take action to put their illegal legal theories into practice...

And the strongest legal defense against incarceration is being not guilty.....not by taking the 5th, because most time, crimes can be proven by other means...

Is Trump & Co. picking up the tab for Eastman's attorneys?

"Conservative Lawyer a Likely Target in Atlanta Trump Investigation, His Lawyer Says"

    Source: New York Times

"ATLANTA — John Eastman, the lawyer who developed strategies to block certification of the 2020 election, is “probably a target” in the criminal investigation into efforts to overturn Donald J. Trump’s election loss in Georgia, one of Mr. Eastman’s lawyers said on Wednesday. Mr. Eastman spent the morning appearing before an Atlanta special grand jury looking into the matter. The assertion that Mr. Eastman could face indictment in the Georgia case came from Harvey Silverglate, a well-known Boston-area criminal defense lawyer and civil liberties advocate who is representing Mr. Eastman.

    Snips:

"However, in a phone interview on Wednesday morning, Mr. Silverglate said of Mr. Eastman: “I think he’s probably a target, but I don’t think he’s a legitimate target,” adding that he believed Mr. Eastman had broken no laws in Georgia. “I don’t think my client is going to be convicted of anything,”

" Mr. Eastman said that he never sought to overturn the November 2020 election but rather was calling for investigations into what he described as “illegality” in the process. :roflol: “We really take issue with the district attorney’s office appearing, apparently, to criminalize contested legal theories,” he said."

"Mr. Eastman was an obscure conservative lawyer until he emerged as a central figure in efforts to keep Mr. Trump in power in 2020 by deploying slates of fake electors in a number of swing states. :roflol: His testimony in the Georgia case was sought by Fani T. Willis, the Fulton County district attorney, who was considering bringing a multi-defendant racketeering or conspiracy case over what she has characterized as “any coordinated attempts to unlawfully alter the outcome of the 2020 elections in this state.”

Well he has that right to take the fifth, but it pretty much sets it up for a trial. Then it will get very interesting. :)

OANN settled with Freeman and her daughter months ago.
Both women testified live before the J6 Committee

"Judge Allows Poll Workers' Entire Defamation Case Against Rudy Giuliani Over False Election Fraud .."

"Filed in December 2021, Ruby Freeman and Wandrea “Shaye“ Moss allege that the man once known as “America’s mayor” defamed them when he falsely claimed they had engaged in election fraud as ballot-counters at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia."

"On December 3 [2020], plaintiffs—who had been counting absentee ballots and participating in the recount in Fulton County at the State Farm Arena—were drawn into this offensive, when “Trump Campaign surrogates testified before the Georgia Senate, alleging that fraud and misconduct had occurred during Georgia’s November 2020 election.” In support of their allegations, “a lawyer assisting the Trump Campaign played snippets,” of a “State Farm Arena security camera video showing grainy images of two women,” later identified as plaintiffs, “counting ballots.” The Trump Campaign witnesses alleged that after “Republican observers had been asked to leave the arena[,] in contravention of Georgia law,” the women in the video clip and “other election workers [had] produced and counted 18,000 hidden, fraudulent ballots.” The witness “referred to ‘suitcases of ballots [stored] under a table, under a tablecloth’” and stated that one of the women in the video clip “had the name Ruby across her shirt somewhere,” but did not otherwise identify the women by name. The same day, the Trump Campaign repeated the same allegations on Twitter, sharing the Edited Video “and tweet[ing] that it showed ‘suitcases filled with ballots pulled from under a table AFTER supervisors told poll workers to leave room and 4 people stayed behind to keep counting votes.’” Giuliani shared the Trump Campaign tweet “repeatedly . . . on his own Twitter account” on December 3 and 4, repeating the same caption."
