On my FB the leftwing especially musicians are going ape and dancing with joy led off my comments such as

So I went and searched Google and Yahoo and posted back

"Well I think it matters even in death that if one is going to be criticized for something they said it should exactly what they said and not some urban myth. And it was too bad Garcia wrecked his life on drugs."

No retractions, no "oh thanks now we know he didn't say that".

So, you know it all, then explain to me how I'm wrong.

How is wanting lower taxes horrible, vicious, vindictive, and hateful?

How is expecting the government to live within it's Constitutional role horrible, vicious, vindictive, and hateful?

How is protecting your nations borders horrible, vicious, vindictive, and hateful?

How is the spirit of rugged individualism and self responsibility horrible, vicious, vindictive, and hateful? What about American exceptionalism? A strong military? Respecting and enforcing the Second Amendment? Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness?

I could go on and on for hours, maybe even days, but let's start with this very simple list. How are those things horrible, vicious, vindictive, and hateful? For that matter, how can that phrase apply to anything that is the very character of our nation?

Once upon a time was a typical uninformed mainstream liberal. A guy I used to see in the gym was a big Rush fan. I asked him how he could listen to that crap even though my political diet consisted of whatever leftist trash was being pumped out by the msm at the time. He said "just listen, just listen." I did and haven't looked back since.

I am grateful to Rush for cutting through all the leftist confusion and intelligently making the case for the preservation of America. I would not be the deplorable I am today without Rush. God bless and rest in peace.

 

Got an audio of that? Got more that unverified quotes posted on the internet because I was seeing similar about alleged statement he made about Jerry Garcia which having to dig deep I found out what it actually said and it was entirely different.
