It's when we allow the (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)s in power to decide our fate for us, and allow them to so fundamentally affect us that we the people - the vast majority of the earth's human population - become cut off from one another, and so begin to fear and hate one another, based simply on political grandstanding and propaganda from above, that things are taking a drastic turn for the very worst.

I don't want to be cut off from the Russians, from the Chinese, from the Koreans, from ANY people on this planet. That is utterly RETARDED, as again it only happens because of our so-called leaders and what nasty, stupid policies they decide to enact in our name.

Who said the program is bad?
I doubt it was decision of Putin - he has a lot of headaches besides this. There are other admin. resources who make the decisions on this level. ( i wonder why u are so anxious around Putins personality-)) We just want our kids to stay safe, in this case mentally.

Still there are other exchange programs, USA is not the only spot on the map. I participated in the program of an exchange and it was Malta.

 

this is a good program.

we need our students to see what life is like on the other side.

all intelligent people can see the value in this program and how cancelling it is bad for foreign relations and bad for peace.

 

Why? I see Russia as having the strength to fight Western values, or rather non values, where decency and integrity has ceased to exist... and where even our president will spit out one lie after another for the almighty corporate dollar.

Its sad that anti-Putins pay attention only to something that cud discriminate him, meanwhile this summer Russian government approved the bill according to which the most talented bachelors will be sent at the best universities of the world at the expense of the state. The total amount of investments will make about 4,4 billion rubles within three years. Im sure u d never post such a topic here -))
