5 yr plans, famines, pogroms, forced deportations, I'm sure if you Google, wiki, you may find many examples.

Speak up, I cannot get what are you trying to say. Be clear with your statements, and use quotes when adress people, pretty please.

Lol..don't try to "speak up" and "pretty please" me, I mentioned to Google forced deportations, and other genocides that were perpetrated by the Soviet regime. Since you seem to deny this, and don't try to lecture me in using English language, it's not exactly my problem you're not familiar with it.

Actually, it starts with this, if we are doing pictures:

Or, if we doing it properly, there is compact, official, scientifically recognized recording of history of RF and it's predecessors:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Russia

By that, I politely remind you, that to have a serious dialogue you need to be serious and use correct terminology. Otherwise world of science would've been full of clowns like Mitzgol.

My problem is you not being clear with what are you trying to state by constantly bringing in mentions of real of fake, precise or egxagerated, events of soviet history. What are you trying to say by that?

For past few hours, the most likely assumption I came to, is that you are trying to insult my country. Is that so?

And - I will lecture you in use of English as much as it takes that to make you write down your words in clear, readable manner.

For some time I have also considered Russia to be Evil Empire, until I realized that USA is much worse.

I frankly doubt there is need in competition over who is getting screwed worse. Honestly.

This is site is a form of "social media", and i will use what terms , language slang i am comfortable with, i dont think i need to conform to your so called"level", this isnt the former Soviet Union nor is it the current Russians federation. You seem to think that mass deportations, genocides, and other forms of exetermination are just some figments of ones imagination. I gave one example earlier, you dismissed it, and claimed it was jibberish! I mentioned you can Google or wiki serch other topics and im sure there are many subjests on this. I use a mobile device, so depending on area where wireless is good may be a problem searching, whereas my laptop i can be more direct. So whether i insult you or your stare isnt reall a concern of mine, there are many opinions shared here, some fact, others are debatable.

You stated that Ukrainian Soviet Socvialistic Republic was kept in poverty and out of educastion - I asked for a proof, you directed me to famine that greatly harmed all of Union. I explained why and how famine happened, and you have not gave proof of your first statement.

You do not simply make such accusations out of the blue, and being not able to give proof of them is not an excuse. Openly saying, that you cannot give proof at current moment, but will do later when will have opportunity - is an exuse. Legit and honest. Conversation would've went much smoother, if you would have informed me about that much earlier.

As what I think - I tell when there is opportunity to do that. I asked for proof of your accusation, not of discussing other events of Union's history. If you want to discuss them - you can always offer such discussion.

so the tooth fairy remark was acceptable then... noted.

I find much irony in Russians lecturing me about the media, I grew up in South Africa during apartheid, a country where the media were state controlled similar to Russia. I've worn those rose coloured spectacles and now without them I see much clearer.

State controlled media is like holding a puzzle in your hand but not being allowed to turn it, you only ever see one side of it. Western media will turn the puzzle at every possible angle, pulling at threads until they unravel the truth.

I doubt western media works as ideal media should. I never heard of western media recognising existence of ossetian nation, for example. Kurds - for sure, since it allows to create fuzz over Turkey, when such need comes. But not ossetians of Georgia.

I may have simply missed media abroad mentioning them, or they never did - proving that media everywhere works the same way, and to a certain degree is controlled by the state. Just disguising this control better or worse.

For example, compared to russian, media of Kazakhstan looks like a bunch of unprofessional gossipers from a local bar. Does not makes our media more trustworthy.

It's because you don't bother to look, you're biased, you should take your own advice and do a little research

I did bothered looking before, and was unempressed by seeing pretty much same quality of approach to delivering information, adressing masses and praising government, as in our media, but with different polarity.
Have not met before insidestory.org, though, will give it a look for a few days. For now... Not very impressed.

Checked the BBC website you gave, at least it has mentions of ossetians - and article I read there surprised me with speaking about ossetians, and not georgians or russians.
Generally, I chose example of kurds and ossetians for a reason. Both are nationalities that are opressed, have no independent state, and strive to have one. Scale is a bit different, but people's lives matter regardless of scale. But from western media's perspective, lives of kurds matter more.

Is it not a reason for being sceptic towards it?

nothing wrong with healthy skepticism, however I think unless an article is written from your point of view it's unlikely to impress you

The one I read was not written from my personal point of view, it simply recognised existence of people and problems surrounding these people. Such as devastated Tskhinval, where people still live in apartment buildings shedded with holes from gunfights and threatening to collapse from lack of integrity.

I guess, just a simple human decency is enough to impress me. Media sadly, usually lacks that quality.

Quite possibly I do, yes. Unless I am one of such trolls, groomed with care by loving hands of KGB agents, in a flower pot filled with the best dirt we managed to steal from all these pathetic capitalists in business suits, fed with fertilizer made of mixture of caviar, cream and champagne, trained for years by being strapped in middle of cinema theater with my eyelids sewn to my forehead, watching propaganda day and night!

...or maybe I just find your manner of speaking, general approach to discussions and claims that you make being a rubbish on the level of Kiselev himself.

    "Coincidence? Don't think so." (c)

There was a warning from him quite some time ago(kadyrov), that any russian troops on chechen soil would be fired upon, now whether he was overreacting, idk. This was back in 2015.
