I agree with you. As long as he doesn't blow the nomination with some stupid crap.

I don't think he will. He is a very intelligent man and will not give into the vulnerabilities the media and left are anticipating...

Many Americans will be praying for him. God can move mountains and will help we the people expose the lies and bias of the liberal media and "progressives".

I'm already seeing it work. The more they try, the more they fail. They are essentially decapitating themselves.

Actually he's a moderate. You're thinking of Ronald Paul, also an excellent candidate for the presidency of the United States.

Lol , wow , RA , it's slow when ya have to start debating with your own post , isn't it . .? lol . .

Hey , I been telling you 'Party of NO' guys for a long time that Obama will be a lot harder to beat than y'all think , especially with Romney loosing his home state of Michigan to Santorium tonight .

It looks to me as though the only thing being decapitated is the GOP chances for a win in November .

lol , I hear Donald may run with Palin on the Indy ticket ... which will further split the GOP vote . .

    4 more 4 Barry .

With equal ease I can postulate that soon the Earth will be covered with pig s**t, because on the day that Crusader Rick is elected to the Presidency, pigs can fly!

Santorum is far less likely to beat Obama than Romney.

Paul is a Libertarian more than he is a conservative.

Conservative is not synonymous with smaller government -- especially with social policy.

Santorum, on the other hand, is pretty conservative, but that's not always supportive of smaller government.

Lately his supporters are insisting he's more a Constitutionalist than a Libertarian, so go figure. He's what ever his supporters want him to be.

Gallup says different, but that neither here nor there.. I am just said about Ron Paul.. Media didn't pick him, so he won't win even though he's the best candidate to go against Obama... I like Doctor No...

    Side note: Media and Politics...
We don’t have to go that far back… Media picked up Palin – Media picked up Obama – Media screwed over Dean - now they are screwing things up for the best candidate for the Republican Party in Ron Paul… (mind you this is only one person’s opinion). The fact is – 98% of America are sheep… followers… The old saying? “Nobody wants to vote for a loser..” so, if the media says so-and-so is winning or losing or having problems… The followers that is America will follow suit… It’s ridiculous, but so true.

Paul had 12 terms in the House while being the Champion of "TERM LIMITS." That is as good a description of a career politician as any. Webster's could use that in their dictionary.

    http://www.termlimits.org/

What does him supporting "term limits" have to do with anything other than that HE SUPPORTS TERM LIMITS?!?!

What is his diabolical scheme... is he Satan or something because he supports Term Limits?

I love coming here to witness the train of delusion. Obama has been trending upward in recent polls, the economy is improving, all while the GOP's latest speed-dating prize flames out once they're positioned in the spotlight. The sad thing is, a generic Republican DOES beat Obama in the national polls, even still. Once a name gets applied though, Obama surges.

It screams weak field, and the GOP deserves it. The establishment has utilized their base to act as foot soldiers since 2009, tea parties, townhalls, etc and NOW they're upset because they hold sway in the primaries. Romney is still a huge threat to Obama is nominated, but Santorum? Give me a break.
