    Pretty much.

Santorum wouldn't even win his home state of Pennsylvania.

They seem to want to hand Obama 4 more years. Amazing.

Santorum was my least favorite candidate when there were 9. I take it as a compliment that the average Republican voter is now enamored by him. I mean how seriously out of whack must your priorities be if you believe that Santorum is the best choice.

Gee, I've never heard that one before. Really? Only Romney can beat Obama? Thank you liberal friends. I'll call the smoking guys right away. "scratch that, we need to run the mormon!"

I'm really surprised that Santorum has so much support. Through the debates he has proven to be immature, petty, whiny, and prudent to a fault with his abortion beliefs. Romney is the far better American, more capable, more successful, moderate and the only one who can beat Obama. If Republicans lose this election, they'll deserve whatever the negative outcome of four more years of Obama. :tombstone:

You'll never get the moderate votes with Santorum. You're delusional if you think moderates would believe his bull(*)(*)(*)(*)

These are sacrificial candidates. Republicans with anything on the ball (more slim pickings) understand that they will have to wait until 2016.

Of course he'll get moderates, in fact he'll beat Obama on the moderate vote. Moderates are running from Obama.

Reagan got moderates. Bush got moderates. Trust me, Santorum will get moderates. Stop thinking so negative.

Nah. Romney actually has a chance if he can get past the primaries. Unfortunately, the undesirable conservatives (the social ones) are more likely to vote than the more reasonable fiscal conservatives.

Reagan and Bush were not Bible beaters that tried to ram thier hypocritical lifestyle down our throats. Reagan was a California Hollywood union president that rarely went to church. He was our only divorced president.

Nancy Reagan had her quirks but...

No, Romney really doesn't have a chance. Consider it a moral victory if he gets within nine states, eh?

I'm a moderate. Santorum is an idiot. Reagan was much smarter.

The fact that you support Santorum suggests you are a right winger. Stop assuming how people outside of your demographic think.

I didn't agree with Reagan but he knew how to work a room and it sure as hell didn't involve saying I'm going to take away everyone's birth control pills.

You may be right, in that moderates tend to support big, massive, authoritarian government in every way and so does Santorum.

He advocated peace with Russia (though he built our armed forces substantially). Santorum wants to wipe Iran off the map.

My problem with Santorum is no executive experience. If you have never been an executive, you likely have little clue on what it takes to be successful. Barack Obama is a perfect example of this short coming. It is why Governors are the better choice for Presidents over Senators or Congressmen/women. You may have all the great ideas in the world, but if you don't know how to execute them... so what.

I don't think I can trust you on this...I noticed you were for Cain then he quit, then pro-Gingrich then he dropped, now you are pro-Santorum...I think you like picking the losers lol. :chainsaw: Maybe you finally got the right one this time or you are the kiss of death lol.

When you see any body but Romney..with total hatred,it is usually religion driven.. especially if they never say why Romney is so terrible.

Santorum wants the tea party vote even though just last summer he says its not what conservatives really are.

He is another newt saying anything and re inventing himself for a vote, To hit Romney on this is just pure hypocrisy.
Funny how every anti Romney hits Romney on flip flops for votes..then are MORE guilty than the man they accused.

Santorum lies about his own pay raises..If A man can tell the voters he wouldn't accept a dime in pay raises.. then votes 3 separate times for a pay raise..you CANT TRUST HIM...No matter how many times he is for abortion...and controlling your bedroom.

A guy cant be for small government then rip libertarians for wanting...
    ( drum roll ) a smaller government.

He is saying one thing just last summer .DIFFERENT than what he is saying right NOW. not in 1996..or 2002..or 2006

    Santorum will never be president...

Why would the tea partiers want this guy? Why would small government conservatives want this guy? He is one of the most corrupt social progressive big government RINOs since McCain.

Believe this: if Santorum is the Republican candidate, Obama will win in a landslide. Santorum probably had a decent chance before he got all weird and morphed into "Crusader Rick", the "Social Conservative". As a consequence, he'll have a huge number of women against him who don't like his Roe v Wade drama, and he'll have a majority of 77 million Baby Boomers against him because he has mouthed-off about how he wants to cut earned Social Security... not in the future, but RIGHT NOW.

I'm as right-wing and arch-Conservative as it gets, but I WON'T vote for "Crusader Rick" -- and if that means Obama is re-elected, it'll make me puke, but SO BE IT! I won't vote for anyone who will steal from people who have earned what they have, and have been forced to work all their lives for a government benefit that has been in existence since the 1930's. So, if Republicans can't find someone better than a contemptible screwball like Santorum, then to hell with them!

Santorum would be worse than Palin as president.

    Obama will clearly win.

The issue is whether or not he can get the welfare parasites to get out and vote again. They did come out and vote for him in 2008. Now they've had 4 more lazy years, will they get off their fat asses and vote for him again? Many of them don't think he's given them ENOUGH goodies. You cannot BUY an election from people that don't understand money. He PROMISED them goodies, has he delivered enough goodies? Has he satisfied the insatiable?

That's an easy fix. 2008 vote for hope and change. 2012 vote for fear of change. Obama supporters will be out there, I think republicans have to worry about losing some of their people because the candidates have done such a good job tearing each other apart some people will refuse to vote for the republican candidate if it is not theirs.

When a Nominee is named, the Republicans will kiss and make up and the public will forget. Then it will be all about b.o. and his complete failure as a president and as an American.

Just as you clearly forget that in 2007 Edwards was a shoo in until he shot himself in the foot with his member. ala Wiener. Then it was Hillary and obama calling each other names with obvious animosity between them. Had Edwards, the good looking rich white guy, NOT screwed up so totally, obama would be back in Chicago forging dead peoples names on voter registrations.

Liberals and history, Their absolute worst of many subjects they cannot grasp.

Put it this way, Romney is my least favorite, and I think the guy with the worst chance against obama due to church affiliations.

Right now my choice is Santorum or Romney. Romney has always been the favorite, but I don't think he has a great chance. I think the experts have completely underestimated his baggage that liberals are just waiting to pounce on.
