Oh goody, now show us where "uterus privileges " were made a law or are even a "thing".

You have no proof that "uterus privilege" exist so why not admit you just made it up???

I was, and am, trying to get the OP to give any kind of evidence that "uterus privileges " exist.

He states it like it's a fact....and has no basis to do so.

It's a silly as asking questions about "heart privileges"....

Where is your EVIDENCE that there is this imaginary "shortage" of yours?

As usual a quick search proves that your utterly bogus allegation is just FOS.

https://www.novanthealth.org/health...ay, that figure has almost,Now 59 percent are.

Yet another of your falsehoods about women has been EXPOSED as a massive load of bovine excrement.

Umm... You do understand that what your links shows is exactly what I said?

Maybe you didn't really pay attention to exactly what I said, and got confused.

Or did you think OB-GYN is synonymous with doing abortions??

My point was that even if half the doctors doing abortions were women, that still shows a reluctance on the part of women to want to do this, considering that it is a larger percentage of women make up the doctors in the wider field of OB-GYN.

That is, if 60% of persons entering OB-GYN are women, and of those who then go on to specialize into abortion, 50% are women, that would show that women appear 20% less likely to want to go into abortion then men. Because there were more women than men in the pool to start out with.

(abortion is considered a sub-specialty of OB-GYN. medical residents have to do preliminary training in basic OB-GYN before they have the opportunity to specialize further and pick exactly what they are going to do)

The only CONFUSION must be YOURS because this EXACTLY what you posted!

I just PROVED with a CREDIBLE source that women doctors are now the MAJORITY providers in the area of "female reproductive health (involving their private parts) these days".

Did you FORGET what YOU posted?

Next time I recommend that you VERIFY the contents of your OWN vapid posts BEFORE making BS allegations about other members.

Did you completely misread what I posted?

If you wanted to prove me wrong, you could try to show me that women are equally represented in the field of women's reproductive health as they are in abortion specifically, or (even harder) try to show that there are lots of women doing late-term abortions as their career choice.

Sorry about that. I may not have stated things the most clearly. And I guess I could see how you could have misunderstood.

It should have been obvious that I was talking about abortion, in the first line.
"Why are women still going to men for their abortions"

I think I was being highly sarcastic, refering to abortion as "female reproductive health".

I even said in that first original post that much more than half of OB-GYN doctors were women.

NOW you are just MOVING the goalposts because I PROVED that you were 100% WRONG with your bovine excrement allegation about female OBGYNs.

    Sad!

You didn't bold it in the post, so it wasn't clear.

He said that females were the majority of OB-GYN, but were a minority among abortion providers and non existent among the late term abortion providers.

Your link did not disprove anything he claimed about the number of women in the field. In fact you supported the first part of his claim.

    Here is what he said:
Correction to my prior post. Practically non-existent as opposed to non-existent.

You too are MOVING the goal posts!

I was EXPLICIT with reference to the EXACT statement that I was responding to and the OP subsequently CLARIFIED that I was CORRECT.

No you didn't, and no he didn't. His post that I quoted with the numbers came before the one you quoted. He established the numbers before his miswording and then noted that he applied his words wrong to what he was trying to say. Even I picked up, in the context of all his posts, of what he was saying. I think that you are so ready to prove him wrong (which he is on the overall topic) that you are not paying attention to the context of posts, and making knee jerk reactions to words instead of reading what was written.

It is not moving the goal posts to note that in a prior post he stated exactly what you said as well. Are you going to try to claim that you have NEVER mistyped or misspoke when trying to make a point, such that it seemed that you contradicted yourself, or at the least said something other than the point you tried to make? Because if so, then you're a liar. We all do it. If he had suddenly come up with those numbers he posted AFTER you called him out, then we could say he was moving the goal posts. But both posts were before, and both have to be taken into account. Hell the situation would be different if the posts were reversed, and you responded to the one before seeing the other. But it wasn't. He established the numbers first. You knee jerked on the second post ignoring the first. That's what it comes down to. Otherwise, you would have called him out on his seemingly contradictory posts. But you never mentioned the first. And yes you were correct, but so was he because he mentioned the overall field was majority women to start with, before you ever did.

HEY, why don't YOU show a POINT! :roflol::roflol:

It would be so unusual...it's OFF TOPIC, of course, but when you can't defend your OP I guess you have to go off topic ...

Gee, maybe YOU could tell me what his POINT is....there doesn't seem to be one except to take attention away from the original inane, ridiculous OP...

    And the POINT is ???????

The OP has no point so the author had to go off topic to talk about something else with no point...

It seems disparaging women is the goal...as usual..

    Did it help?

Did you find a POINT ? Settle on a topic ??

In my case, I am neither confirming or denying if he went off point. Deridedo_Te made a false claim and counter, and I pointed that out. To call out one person's errors and not the others would be hypocritical. In DT's case it was because they focused too much on the single sentence and not the overall context and previous posts. In their zeal to prove Kaz wrong, they ended up confirming what Kaz said. Then they compounded their error in attempting to call misspeaking as a moving of the goalpost, when clearly the context of Kaz's posts showed otherwise.

Again, I am not making any claim to the validity of Kaz's overall point. As you should be able to note, I have held an opposing position. But to call him out on any errors he makes and not call you or DT or anyone else on theirs would be hypocritical, and I try (not always successfully) to avoid that.

I'm still not exactly sure what you were asking. Could you try asking the question in a different way? (Maybe try to be more specific?)

I want you to show examples of both what is a right I have with regards to my own body and what is only a privilege with my own body?

Well, I already gave some examples in #124.

As a more Libertarian-leaning person, I might have my own ideas about what individual bodily rights should be, but current government & society has a somewhat more restrictive view on that. The fact is, there are many things you are not permitted to do with your body.

(All the more so when your rights start encroaching onto the territory of someone else's rights. If you're familiar with the Libertarian Non-Aggression principle)
