With insults & smearing and that in itself is classic Innocent Club or Comintern....I lean rather towards the latter

I almost agree. The Communism for which my great-grandparents fought was not the same as Totalitarianism of 1930s. Even under Stalin, USSR had great accomplishments -- USSR defeated the Nazis.

In 2020, many on the Left are sadly Totalitarian.

I do not think Lenin would have been proud of the Totalitarianism in USSR 1937, or USA 2020. This is not what Lenin and Trotsky stood for.

Well that is the problem C, they sell you the ideals, a crusade...you're all pumped up you're going to save the world...... and when you've served your purpose & find out they lied and deceived you, you are disposed off, Communism is a power grab.

I posted pages from a book describing the Comintern and Munzenberg's goals to demonstrate how Liberalism mirrors the Comintern, its goals and how it uses Soviet propaganda strategies to manipulate, lie, shame, make an individual feel inferior and force right thinking individuals to support their views.

I then posed the question, whether Liberalism.... being in fact the Comintern (based on the info from textbook) should be referred to as Comintern... since that is what it really is.

Perhaps. But possibly, there is a humane form of Socialism like Scandinavia. My great-grandparents worked and fought to build a democratic Socialism. In USSR in 1920s it was sort of built, but economic situation was still poor after WWI. Totalitarianism appeared only in 1930s.

In 1940s, USSR defeated Germany and saved Humankind.

 

But doesn't this thread use those very same propaganda techniques and tactics? You say you are exposing truth. May I remind you that the official newspaper of the Soviet Communist Party was called Pravda, and Pravda means "Truth"

I'm sorry C, your Revolution in 1917-early 1920's never really belonged to you. It was funded by International bankers in the west.

As for Scandinavia, it has a mixed economy, the capitalist side supporting the socialist side, it only works if you practice sensible economics and earn more than you spend, which means reducing your social payments when the money runs short.
