    Like I mentioned I get to use the car for work. Which I get reimbursed for. So I will be putting a lot of miles on the car. Gas mileage and my comfortability. Is what I am looking at. V4 or v6. KIA has the ten year powertrain warranty and the cheapest SUV's.

    We have gone with Ford for the last decade and a half. Had a Chevy van and Dodge Neon before that when I had my business. The OL had a Hyundai.

    You sound like a henpecked hubby who if he's really been a good boy can use the
    car to drive down to the local A & P for a carton of cigs.For the Wifey.
    If the Car is for work and for being a salesman then right there spells problems.
    THE worst thing for a car,any car,I don't care if a Mercedes,is short trips.
    A Lot of stopping and starting a car.I wouldn't know how to advise a vehicle for that
    purpose.I saw a Van the other day that was being used as some kind Company
    vehicle,like an Auto Parts Van.I was behind the van.When it turned off I noticed it's rear
    axle.I had never seen a rear axle like that before.It didn't look right.It sat way too low to
    the ground and had no differential.Just a thick as a baseball bat rear axle from
    one rear wheel to the other rear wheel.I thought... How crappy a build is that.
    A front wheel drive Panel van with an el cheapo rear axle unit.That sat like maybe 4 " at
    best off the ground.Probably 3".That was one dangerous vehicle to use in winter.
    The worst vehicle I ever owned was a Chevy Van.I bought it specifically to be my
    Hippie Van. It had a custom inside with little refrig and carpeting on the side panels.
    But the thing handled like pure trash.The engine had no power and was noisy and
    the steering was dangerous.You could feel the road at all times.The feel of the road
    went right to the drivers seat and the wheel.It was by far the biggest piece of crap
    vehicle I ever drove,yet alone owned.Previous to that I had a new Z-28 that I
    ended up totaling.

    Say what.....Not even close.....and not with a Sicilian from Chicago, ever. Stick with the common sense.

    The Van I had was a Chevy Econoline 150......it was used to haul the Equipment for the Business I had for a Decade.

    Huh ... A Sicilian from Chicago.? Do Sicilian from Sicily know from Chicago.
    I guess one would have ta ask The relatives of " Sam the Cigar " Giancana.
    What is better Sicily,Palermo or Salerno.?
    How about Venice.A Venetian from Chicago.He can always pled he
    was blind drunk the night of the frucus.The day he signed the car loan.

    I can also play hockey and use a hockey stick instead of a pistol, or get drafted by an MLB team......


    I'd rather skate around on the ice with a (well in my case) a Gadsden Flag after winning a championship than the US Flag because that's who I am..... As a Sicilian I will never fly that Italian/Sicilian flag because I'm a US citizen - born, raised and will die here...... I may be a dago but I'm not some spaghetti slurping clown.... I may have olive skin but that means nothing to me, nor does it to 99.99999999 % of the people I have met in my life...

    Mornin people of the Strange Brews. [​IMG] Last Saturday of the Month. Didn't someone say there was going to be party going on tonight?

    Its the end of January in Chicago and we are going to be up in the 40s Temp wise. Calling for 50 tomorrow but with rain. Usually we have a few inches of snow on the ground Right about at this time and its like only in the 20's - 30's. But we aren't complaining.

    Heya Nick. [​IMG] Damn near all of our snow and Ice is gone.....50 degrees down on the South Side. A couple more months and winter is over I keep telling myself. Although I can't remember, "ever" when it was 50 in Jan.

    The month went by quickly for me. Feb is knocking at the door already.
